Hi Guys, Hit the NAVI buttom yesterday on the AUTOME305 model HU GPS unit. nothing but a white screen and a black cross which moves around. makes a couple of noises, but totally no picture or usable. Tried the reset, still no good. Has anyone else had this issue ? cheers

Hi Guys, Since I am a visual person, can anyone post a couple of pics of where to insert the red and black power wires for a couple of LCD's ? using the center console power of course. a sketch will do also. I read a little bit about an install a couple of months back, but the whole wiring thing was kind of left out. each lcd has a black and red wire, do i need separate points for them, or just twist together and put them into the same spot. ( i know the sparky's are cringing at my lack of knowledge ) Also, does the back seat panel unscrew or have snap ins ? cheers

Hi Guys, Went to price some 20x8.5" wheels for the ZR6. Bob Jane T dorks said that they can't legally put them on because the Aurion std is 7" and you can only go 1" over ( 8" ). I notice that a heap of you guys are riding 8.5, so...whats the deal ?. As I understand it, As long as the wheel sits inside the Guard it's OK ! The Aurion has a heap of room it seems to accomodate even 9" IMO. Your thoughts and experience is appreciated. PS - I'm in NSW, so maybe rules differ from state to state. I'[ll be out all day to day, so can't respond to any replies till late this avo, thanks in advance. cheers,

Why wouldn't you go for 19" ? they look nice and big but still enough wall for no scrub issues. 18" is a waste of time and money. Go for the 19's dude, perfect look for the Aurion IMO

Hey Tofuboi - I actually really like the blacked head lights on that TRD, where did you get the pic ?

Put Premium fuel in, and use the manual shift and I rekon you'll have him. He will lose some traction at the start also. At the end of the day, even if your a fraction behind, you have proven the point that the Faclon's and commondores are a complete waste of money sacrificing quality for a couple of tenths of a second. Hi guys, just abou to install new HD head unit. got to the Part where i need to remove the AC controls from the existing head unit. I have removed the bracket screws but the unit doesn't pull away from the AC unit. Is it just clips ? Which way do i pull, out or up. Is there a set of screws i am missing ? The whole dash is disassembled at the moment so anyone who can give me quicj advice is very much appreciated cheers, Ad

Stepbro, YES YES YES. I bought one of the first ZR6's off the lot in 2006 ! It has played up on and off but i never bothered to get it changed out as i am planning to update the HUD to a DIGOPTIONS unit anyway. My unit goes all jumbled up etc. It seems to do it especially on humid days. my advice is to get a DIG OPTIONS unit anyway. cheers,

Do u have any pictures of the wheels you are getting? Not decided on wheels yet, I love ELEGNT's, but don't want to copy, I'm in south NSW coast so I'm not going to see him up the street, but still. The Kings in the front and Pedders in the Back is interesting, not sure if I know who sells kings here, we have a pedders. Can anyone else tell me how you go with insurance when you move to the 8.5 track which is beyoond the RTA reccommended ? do you need special insurance ?

totally agree, there is only 1 20 inch tyre (thats under $500 each) that is legal for the car and they are pretty good so he wont be giving himself any trouble. stock shocks work fine, as of yet there are no upgrades for them. adman good luck with your decision mate B) cheers...still have to sell my house before I'm aloud to get them anyway. I'll get the 20's and give the family a BUS pass if they complain about the bumps, hopefully I'll get lucky and the ride will be cool. I'll post the pix of course

sorry mate haha, are u worried about it scraping when lowered or too rough? if your worried about it scraping go pedders springs they are a little bit higher at the back than kings are u will get no scrubbing at all. if your worried about it being to rough, there will be **** all difference between 19 and 20's in my oppinion. its not that much rougher than the stock rims, it jsut feels like u put way to higher tire pressure in. and in the back is alot softer than in the front seats. here is ingres's car he has 19's Thanks Elegent....damn your sexy photo ! ingres's car looks sweet, but ....damn you elegent...your going to cost me another $1000 on wheels..hehe

OK Guys, Been reading the forums here for a couple of weeks, you guys know your stuff... thanks for the posts. Here's the lowdown..Black Stock ZR6, Family car with 2 little $%E^$^'s in the back ( AKA kids ) prams etc in the Boot. Here's the downside...I love 20inch rims lowered!!!! blame ELEGENT. can you please send me some awesome pictures of Aurion's with decent 19 inch rims and a good compromise on lowering to convince me not to buy 20's and give my kids spinal damage ? cheers

i everyone, I am a new member but probably purchased one of the first Aurion Zr6's when on the shouth coast NSW when they first came out. I was just interested to know if anyone else has had probs wih the stereo. The BASS is miles too loud fr starters, and now the LCD display is getting mixe up and jumbled and sometimes I can't eve turn the stero OFF !!! anyone ?
