  1. Hey guys> Sorry I've dropped off the planet....been busy starting this whole reality of "FT work"....which is tough. Now that I'm actually earning some $$$ its nice cause my tyres is getting low & maybe finally a excuse to buy Rims =) So when is the next meet up??? PS. On the plus side guess what new toy i've found!, It redlines@11,500rpm with twin exhausts & a yamaha engine. 9. Hi, Bought a nolathane front struct brace for my post-facelift '05 sportivo and it doesn't exactly fit too well. See pic! Is there a way around this as i'm not keen to force it on and break some more expensive stuff! Cheers all comments much appreciated!...ahhhh So...annoying' two beers

  11. Thanks guys, Guess i'll be searching for a whiteline brace by the sounds of things....now i just got to find myself a connection down in canb:-)
  12. Interested in purchasing a front struct brace and just curious whats the prices people have paid for them. I see there's a few brands around like TRD, curso, whiteline etc, I really don't mind the finish afterall they look like their made of the same material and thats what counts for structural rigidity, right? I guess whiteline will prob be the cheapest cause its local.....any pointers on price and place to buy would be much appreciated:-) Two beers
  13. Rob u've always got something on the boil! Whats to say i think ur conscience has told u already...just do it all~ By the way u goin' to get a front struct brace? r they really worth it/do they just do bugger all honestly in >structural rigidity/handling by themselves...hmmm. Let me know. Looking forward to seeing a very nice RED sportivo when ur done...just to prove that red cars go faster!

Geez everyone's been burning rubber, hey....so keen to give wakefield a "go"....hint, hint. 16. Wow, how exciting for u! There's only 2 reason's for me to be awake at 3 in the morn, etiher (a) completely sloushed, (B) pulling an allnighter some some stupid group assignment. I value my sleep too much otherwise:-) I wouldn't sleep either if i was getting P1 buddyclubs......ENJOY nightowl! If u want tyres for those mags, i can get wholesale prices in Fysh Bob jane (its about 10% off retail) Chereo two beers (think i exceed my quota by a factor of 5 last night.....and i now know why i deserve this name....hmmm)
  17. Just finished my STUPID EXAMS such a relief.....time to sleep time....... BUT before i fall into a coma, is anyone keen to catchup on sunday. I've got a craving to pull off my front bumper and take out the plastic inserts and put some mesh in. But i'm thinking 2/> brains are better than one...v unqualified engineer! Let me know people. Also, where's gd cheap place to get a front brace...is there really any difference at all with only that installed.......i understand that its designed to> structural rigidity.....but really what r the real effects if any? My no is 0416226467 just so i don't miss another meet! Take care...and gd luck for anyone who has exams left:-)
  18. OH man! Talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time! Been too damn busy to do anything but organise the ANU Engineering ball this wk & look what happens......U all had a blast w/out me:-( a sad, sad, day........or maybe it's the craving for a beer again after friday night...hmmm i don't know. OK, next time u guys decide to catch up can one of u boys just send me a msg/email. chereo two beers Looks like rob is on cloud nine.......how sweet the power of love:-)
  19. Once again the real qu is yet to be answered.......i think i am replying to my ol' qu? Insanity!!!!
  20. I've never had that prob in my '05 sportivo. After doing my skid driving course few months ago and doing plenty of emergency brakes (at lowish speeds<60km.h) i've realised that the ABS threshold kicks in alot earlier than before.....maybe the computer learns? I reckon few practice in a quite place should tell the story......ABS failure should also have a light on the dash too...my two cents:-)
  21. Has happened to me too once on gravel road (suspect stone got between disc & pads) & once on normal bitumen for no reason, just stopped...inspected & was OK......hmmm unexplained phenomenum i tell ya:-) Seconded. Micky T would agree too
  22. Haha...oh i see what u mean....tho it does sound like a challenge:-) just kidding.....still nursing a hangover right now so prob talking **** & best ignored! So mick got anything to say?????
  23. Ditto.....hmmm...how about we go all of the above in one crazy trip! :-)
  24. Nice:-) As much as i want to do so much stuff....saving every penny right now for o/s trip to US end of yr.....costing a arm & leg! So going to high rider for quite some time to come:-) "Money can't buy happiness, but you can't do bugger all w/out it!" Cravings of doing something to the rolla are growing by the min. tho.........
  25. Well with a exhaust like Mike's who could blame him! Been a little lack of lift of late. (Home-Work = 4km) Engine's still cold by the time i stop it damn it! :-) But how's ur ride of late......coilovers yet......? Yeah I agree. When I wonder. How long is a piece of string? How does the universe operate? How much will Mick hit Lift by the end of the week? I do not know (well, except the later )
