  1. :( Cruising around over the weekend in my 2 day old Stivo when my nearside wheel arch liner dropped down and dragged along the ground and against my tyre because it was never fitted properly and was just wedged in place...with that and my odd coloured skirts i'm not a happy camper at the moment i'll tell ya. :(
  2. Well i got my Stivo on Friday, which looks as though it was Official New Stivo day. Bad news!! The paintwork on the skirts doesn't match the Stirling Silver of the rest of the car. Totally different shade of silver and looks crap......so much for quality control. Can't believe no one at the dealership noticed (or bothered to say anything more like) yet it was the first thing i noticed because they look like they don't belong. The dealer has apologised and will either replace or spray them. What a bunch of dufus's. Has anyone else had this problem? Considering that they are supposed to be factory fitted in Sth Africa or wherever it is they're shipping them from. Apart from my paintwork fiasco the Stivo is awesome....taking it easy for a few K's. Hope to see a few of you around Sydney :D
  3. I'm being ripped off, i'm a 33yr old chick with a clean driving record and i'm paying $1100 with NRMA and they were the cheapest.
  4. Dealer called today, delivery has come forward to.....drum roll please......Friday! I've asked them to disconnect that pain in the ***** reversing beep but they've refused...apparently its a safety feature. Yeah right!! Of course it is, in 15 years of driving (blimey, i've just realised how old i am) i've never yet slipped into into reverse by mistake. I've been reading past topics and it looks like i'll be better off just living with the beep and crank up the tunes instead. 2 sleeps till lift off
  5. Cheers Guys ;) Yeah $27.5K in on the Northern Beaches of Sydney i thought was a pretty good deal. Anyone got any tops tips for breaking in my new toy when i get it?
  6. The best i could get out of them was free tints, mats and premium plates, on the road at $27.5K I thought that was a good deal but maybe i could have screwed them down just a little further. Anyway, its silver, as sexy as and its all mine. ;) I wasn't really looking at anything else before making my choice because there's bugger all on the road that i really like in my price range, i had a passing thought of maybe an SP23 or the new Focus Zetec but then thought "nah". Back in the UK i was a Golf GTi driver but can't afford one of those over here so settled with the Sportivo.
  7. Hey guys I'm new to your club and just wanted to share my good news........i take delivery of my brand spanking new 2005 Corolla Sportivo on 26th Sept......can't wait. Cheers p.s. any top tips are more than welcome
