Thanks - I'd already seen that particular page, but no mention of MP3 compatibility. I know the 2007 model got an update that supported it, so I now think it's unlikely. Guess the new headunit will be the way to go! You mention a wiring harness adaptor? Will this make it easy enough to do the job myself?

I'm picking up my new-second-hand 2003 CVX at the end of the week. Haven't seen it yet and I'm having trouble tracking down specs. I know it's got a six-stacker in-dash CD player, but I don't know if it can handle MP3 CDs or not? I've got to drive my new baby from Brisbane to Sydney, so I'd rather not have to burn a few dozen CDs for the trip if I don't have to! Any info would be appreciated. If not, does anyone know if a standard Pioneer 2 DIN headunit will fit in that space?
