  1. HAHAHAHA...........Funny you should mention that since i hav'nt been in contact with you we have had another baby this time it's a boy!! So the grand total is 3 Tamia, Jazmine and now Phoenix...After the rolla was defected and put back to stock we had an EVO 7 sold it and got an 07 Camry for the family car, we still have the rolla and a Smart FORTWO turbo to get to work and around the city LOL. Gotta catch up with you soon Billy Boy...Janice says HI PORK CHOP!! :P
  2. I still have the Runx but it got put out to pasture/retirement thinking of resurecting the old girl back to her former glory. Maybe a engine conversion is on the cards hhhhmmmmm.... KEBAB PERFORMANCE PROJECT X!! Take care from SUNNY BOY!! :P
  3. Hey guys long time no chat on the forum but family life has got me busy.... After 5 years of owning and modding my car i finally received a letter in the mail from the EPA! It was reported to them that my car was known to be "Excessively loud"; In the letter was the decibel rating for my 2003 Corolla and the leagal limit is 90Db@ 4500Rpm under load. We changed the exhaust back to stock today and just for looks because i have now lost my large cannon muffler out the back of the rear bar we put twin muffler tips(on a stock exhaust system mind you) this put out 92DB!!! We took the tips off and it was back to 89Db under load @ 4500Rpm!! My friends which are going to be writing the certificate to prove my exhaust is at a leagal limit have said alot of guys are coming in to get their Db tested and have been failed at RTA inspection bays for being 1/2 a Db over their cars' limit!!!!!!!! The cops, RTA and EPA are getting stricter!!! I have only 2 weeks to fix the problem and send a copy of the certificate back to the EPA if i dont they now can revoke your rego and then issue you with an immediate defect notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( HAPPY MODDING GUYS!!!! F*&KING DIRTY......KILL JOYS!!!!!! But hey they dont worry about old SH!!T boxes on the road that are actually polluting the environment!!
  4. WhY......Does this same topic or discussion keep coming up !!?? So many times this debate has been cleared up for all to read: *Sports car (2 door) Vs Family Car (4 door)* Obvious result is'nt it !!! But if i owned a Integra i'd be embarassed that a toyota with 4 doors and a car thats not even classed as a sports car is just as fast if not faster in some occasions and is cheaper to buy!!! And are much more comfortable to drive and be a passenger i absolutely hate the interior stylings of HONDAS it feels like if your going to have an acco it's going to hurt but in a rolla or any other TOYOTA for that matter you feel alot more cossy and secure!! Why dont we just start a new thread "MRS Vs S2000" or maybe "Camry Sportivo Vs NSX" thats just as intellegent!!
  5. Question Mish....or whoever else is organising this meet who else is invited to this meet?? For e.g: Sydney rolla club, toymods, Oz Honda, Oz mits, nizsilvia etc... or any of the other clubs in Sydney??

  8. congrats guys!!! let me know when your ready for a baby seat and pram!! ;) The only thing i had a say in when we were shopping for baby stuff was the pram! Thats probably why the pram has a cross-drilled and slotted front rotor and 2 pot calipers!! :P
  9. from memory that car with the "veilside" style is the j'racing corolla from ACT. As for the carmate c-one copy yes it's cheap!! BUT..... It's cheap for a reason; be prepared for it not to be a perfect fit!!
  10. mate what about your exhaust!? Did they actually get a decibel reader to test the level of your exhaust or did they just slapp you with a fine becuase they thought that it was loud?? They need to measure the reading at the point of issuing a fine and if they feel as though you do not comply with the correct emissions level you will be off to the RTA/EPA bays for a proper going over! :(
  11. Spotted about 6/6:30ish fredrick street turning onto parra road Ashfield, heading towards burwood. silver stivo with chrome altezza taillights, lowered... *Bill... how much is Dukes spewing when he was picking that colour we had the original Japanese Runx catalogues out and that was one of the great colours available, and now they have released them to Aus!hahahahahaha it's Honda Jazz blue....Damn Hondas!!! 20. If your building a clubman i believe that these guys will be the one stop shop to talk to or you can purchase a ready built clubman from them with 4AGE 16v,20v and i believe they are doing 2zz-ge packages now as well the old gent at my work has a PRB built clubman with a 4AGE-20v silver top with quads etc.... and his car only weighs about 300kg....The thing sounds great and it's Friken quick!! www.prbaustralia.com.au/ :)
  21. Parra road from ashield to m4 turn off = "Every-side street without traffic lights and business drive-ways on the left hand side i.e Holden car yard, toyota car yard, franks mechanical etc...."
  22. Ain't nothing like a salmonila-roll on a stomach full of yesty beer!!!!! GO TEAM KEBBAB!!!!
  23. ACL the makers of pistons&rings, engine bearings, gaskets etc.... Make a heat shield material available in two different large sheets this stuff is amazing! It can be moulded around any shape and is used by race cars for heat shielding around turbos, exhaust systems and what ever else you wanna do with it, It is also very good at being used for sound-deadening. It is also very light weight it is a sandwiched ceramic/fibre glass type material between a light weigt alloy!! My mate uses it on his drag cars and said it is the BEST heat shield you can buy; he said the heat transferr is that good you can place your hand on the heat shield that is covering the turbo manifold and not get burnt!! This is on a tube framed 8.2 sec 2JZGTE Oh yeah and it around $50 for the small sheet which is around 1m x 40cm and there is a larger sheet available but i am not sure on the dimensions.
  24. Guys there is no such thing as KEBBAB PERFORMANCE!! All of bills parts were purchased from a company deep in the amazon!! This store is owned by a little furry guy called BAZZA, his company is called "GIBBON SPANNER RACING"!!! Bill feel free to insert the pic of BAZZA here as i cant find the pic of him any where on this forum!! :P So if u need anything its bazza @ gibbon spanner racing!!! http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...=6803&st=50 FOUND YAY BAZZA!!!!
  25. Well.....The CAMCON has got to be one of the better ECU mods that can be done to the 1zz-fe other than say a E-manage in terms of piggy backs. I had one of the first units sent for POWERENTERPRISE in Japan and we tested it to see just how good it was. It was very impressive in all aspects and scored very well in a test done in conjunction with AUTOSALON MAGAZINE. We made impressive gains and it was also very user friendly! :) We pushed the unit to its limit and was able to use and maintain the unit's maxium levels of adjustment; that being 20 degrees(+) timming on the cam. The A/F ratios were also very easy to match with the ammount of adjustment on the timming i maintained a PERFECT Stiochiometric ratio throughout the entire rev range even coming back down to idle, i was also able to get the little auto 1zz-fe reving out to redline through 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gears! ** IN NO WAY DID THE STD ECU EVER SHOW ANY SIGNS OF "LEARNING" OVER MY ADJUSTED SETTINGS!** ** IN NO WAY WERE THE SETTINGS EVER LOST EITHER I HAD DISCONNECTED MY BATTERY MANY TIMES TO DO WORK TO MY STEREO...THIS HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE CANNOT READ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY OR ARE NOT VERY EXPERIENED AT AUTO ELECTRICAL INSTALLS- I HAVE ONLY HEARD THIS PROBLEM HAPPEN TO GUYS IN THE U.S.A MAYBE ITS THEIR ECU'S?!** And of course you can turn it off when ever you want but to be honest the fuel economy was much better when the CAMCON was "ON" even with alittle bit of spirited driving thrown in the mix!!! :D I would be the first to personally suggest this product!! In the beginning i was very skeptical of if it would work but back at that stage there was no other options available to me which i knew had been designed for our 1zz-fe engines! If you need settings on what mine were PM me mate!
