  1. Agreed The TRD and Aurions are cheap sh!T!!! Just a great engine and Gearbox and body car, terrible brakes and suspension a FWD is not for racing guys! it for getting from A to B in winter xmass over in Europe and Asia LOL!!!! if you race a FWD TRD on a track your just in denial! . The Athlete's are amazing I was lucky to test drive one. while not as fast on paper than the TRD they are somehow faster around the track, we got 2:18 on the TRD and 2:15 with an Athelete, possible due to RWD system and more intelligent ECU and engine.
  2. please fwd the dimensions, I will also ask my mate who has an rebuilt 2GR-FE engine in a MR2 with an Eaton m90. He was the one who introduced me to the Goodyear parts, however he's off racing interstate this weekend. If he's running one they are obviously available. I would also like to know as I'm going to rebuild my 2GR-FE engine once I return from overseas.
  3. Sorry to come accross rude but Retail $500 for a belt!!! I'll tell them to stick it!!! GOODYEAR P Gatorback; Poly-V; 7 Ribs is one of the worlds best These serpentine belts run quieter, stretch less, and transfer more power than most belts and there only $30 - $40 US for reference GOODYEAR Part # 4070825 Gatorback; Poly-V; 7 Ribs / Effective Length 82.5" / Outside Length 83.25" is for 2GR-FE.
  4. Not sure how reliable this is http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/g_G_2007_TOYOTA_AURION_GSV40R-JETDKQ_2.html
  5. Whether it Suites the Australian car. These are the aftermarket racing Serpentine belt for the 22GR-FE. OEM Replacement Belts 2GR-FE (CAMRY XLE) ACDELCO Part # 7K822{#19194030} BELT,SERPENTINE DAYCO Part # 7PVK2095 OE Equivalent Multiple Accessory, w/A.C. Thanks in Advance :)
  6. You cant be serious right?? The OEM Brakes are absolute crap!! The OEM Brakes are Dusty, shutter when hard braking, and makes it twice as hard when your kissing sharp corners. Bendix Heavy Duty resolved all the above for me.
  7. Thats the norm mate. RDA and DBA are made in China now. Same quality but loads cheaper! I even think they export the steel to China and it's still cheaper than paying Aussies to do the labor :P
  8. Like he said, Malaysia is corrupt. Whats stopping the 50+ odd Malaysian store staff and customers txting the number off to the factory when sold, before they email or enter the product code off to UR. This also is most likely since Malaysia have a lot of open demonstrations and display their products at Markets and Centres. I know this because I lived in BKK for a while, and theres heaps of amazing fakes that look 150%! like an original, right down to the particals. Allthough quality deteriates 4 X Faster than a genuine one made on a Friday :P We should invite the 2 for a debate

  11. Hello!!! This may Shred some light! From: Ultra Racing Australia [ultra.racing.australia@hotmail.com] Hi Marty, dffoo1972 sells imitations, i would not guarantee buying off him. He is not affiliated with Ultra Racing Malaysia whatsoever. If you look at the local Malaysian dealers mentioned on the Malaysian website, you will see they are not listed as an authorised dealer. Anyone can copy existing serial numbers to match the originals, there are a few small factories who are based in Malaysia who dedicate themselves copying performance parts. Unfortunately the government over there are corrupted so that's the reason no one can do much about it in stopping imitations. that's the reason the Main Malaysian website promotes to only buy genuine from Authorised dealers and distributors. The quality is not as great either. Regards,
  12. there's no way in the world we could do our self. It's going in the glove box mate it's very bulky. the original computer will be totally replaced. my warranty is almost finished so there's really nothing stopping me. However if you are still under warranty CMI will flip out cause there computers will Blue screen of death :P
  13. Thanks mate!! Pretty good mate. It's taking a bit longer than expected because the electrical workshop got robbed so a bit of a delay.
  14. Sound basic yeah! well Toyota only provide 1 hose adapter when purchasing your new filter. So after I drain the Oil and put the "old filter" back run it for a while to rid of the excess oil and crap I will need another Hose adapter to flush the 0-20w flushing oil. As I'm lead to believe the adapter breaks off after first flush? Is this true? if so what a good/stupid idea.
  15. Try this for a FULL!!! comprehensive answer on all oils http://members.themotoroilevaluator.com/
  16. I get some dyno figures after I have a Motec system installed this weekend.
  17. DJKOR, Are you sure they made a difference? The race team I work for (Supaloc Racing) said they wouldn't use them they crack on the race track. but look great the engineer Osca recons there as good as stock once lol. But then again they use $2000 Rotors on the Lamborghini.
  18. Can anyone note the size of screws for me. The ebay ones don't come with. Cheers!
  19. Personally I would never touch a car rental or Fleet car I know this especially from personal experience when I was an Engineer for the Government I was sent on long trips. I would thrash the living guts out of them to the point they reeked of brake fluid hahah :P I may of even swapped some Aurion parts, maybe,,,, hahaha! If it's in A condition get RAA to go over it thoroughly before you buy it and knock as much as the price as possible!
  20. Great I love being blinded at night by drivers of vehicles with HID's!!
  21. I'm with you there buddy. My Aurion just doesn't sound happy unless she's redlining.
  22. Drink compartment, I went to Sydney with my E71 within the drink compartment with the divider in place to stop it from slipping. Ebay it you can get some nice chargers that go into the bottom compartment (ashtray)
  23. I got my Lukey's on Tuesday. I went and visit friends in Sydney so I've done 2600Kms since then! The Aurion Handled AWESOME! and sounded nice too. I'm just kicking my self I didn't get the Lukey's fitted when I first bought the car
