  1. i looked everywhere for screws but couldnt find anything.. one of the tabs snapped off which i wasnt happy about! i went round as much as i could with a tiny flathead screwdriver but had to stop when it slipped and went into my finger to the bone had to refit the lights for now but will take a pic of the front as soon as i can. i take it the lights from aus look different at the back then? no idea why theyde be different seeing as its both RHD countries!

  4. is no one able to give me any more tips? ive got the headlights on my lap atm, struggling to get em apart again.. when you mention screws, i cant find any on the back of the headlights.. and how do you run a knife round the whole edge when quite a bit of it is covered? anyone?
  5. can anyone comment on where the screws are? hoping to reattempt the mod this coming weekend.. thanks in advance chay
  6. screws... ? i dont recall seeing any? where abouts are they located? could be why i struggled so much! will defo use a knife next time to seperate the glue thou. so if i get rid of all the glue, would a clear silicon be ok to seal it back up? chay
  7. right so i attempted this last weekend.. and failed :(. dont know what toyota here uses for glue but its tough stuff! tried leaving the headlights in the oven for it to soften up, put it back in 5x, tried heatlamp, hairdryer and even a mini blowtorch! any ideas or tips? should i leave it in the oven for a longer time (left it in for 5min, 5x) turned the oven up to 170c, turned it off and left the lights in there. any advice would be great, really want to get this done! chay
  8. Hey mate. Appreciate the kind words :) . The door strips only stuck on by adhesive. There are no holes ;) The headlight mod id a really good exterior mod. But I would never ever do it again <_< was it that much of a mission to get them done? id be going along with the guides posted on the forum and have a whole day set aside to do it in. thats IF the sun ever decides to come out
  9. Heya mate, Im a corolla t-sport owner from the uk, just been reading through your thread in amazement. Done such a good job on the car, definite inspiration for us over here! I wanted to ask, when you took the bump strips off the doors, did you have any holes to patch up or are they stuck on? Very keen on doing the headlight mod to black out the surrounds, would be the first UK corolla to have it done! Chaydon
