  1. hey guys. kinda new to this forum. but anyway, just like to add that i was down at winton today with evolve technik ( some european car tuners ) who had a private track day with driver training (coached by peter fitzgerald, from fitzgerald racing services). anyways, just wanted to say that i achieve a really really great personal best time which was 1.50.8. i started off my day with 2.03 and by the end of the day during my last few laps i managed to achieve 1.50.8 and the professional driver managed to achieve 1.50.2 on my car. i was really amazed with my timing as i had zero handling mods other than my 70% thread falken rt615s and king springs. haha i would like to get some times from any other tocau members who had been on winton. cheers, nick. p/s: hope i made tocau proud! lol :D
  2. Hey guys. has any of you from Melbourne did the clutch adjustment? if yes, where did you do it (which toyota branch). and also how much is it for a normal service as my car's 70k service is due. Your help is much appreciated. Cheers, Nick

  7. yeah i was reading that topic. but i dont quite understand what modifications are needed in order to fit that coilovers in. lol.
  8. so how much did you get them for and where from? im also located in melbourne and im really interested in getting coilovers. bc is within my budget as cusco is too freaking expensive brand new. haha guni : i checked on ebay, cant seem to find any for sportivos. unless i missed out smth. haha danstar : so you gonna get it from OTR for 1.5k? anybody else knows where i can get this set of coilovers for a cheaper price? haha help much appreciated!

  10. hey guys. i had a fun cruise last night but i got some weird shyt that i need some help/clarification about. firstly, my car is lowered with king springs low for front and back, falken rt615s all round. other than that, pretty much stock to the handling part. anyways, i was going fast around corners, and every time the road is uneven, my car seems to vibrate really hard and its really loud and annoying. i can feel the feedback on my steering wheel and its not smth i want. is it due to the stock suspension that are too soft or what? cuz this noise is really scary and it happens whenever i go fast around uneven roads. just wanna get some information on whats going on with my car if you guys ever experienced it before. cheers, Nick

  18. Hey guys. I just purchased my car not long ago and fitted king springs on my car. Was just wondering what effects would a KYB excel g add to my car? will ride me firmer? and handling increase alot? Would like to hear what you guys have to say about it. And also, my car tends to vibrate whenever i accelerated over a small bump or when im taking a corner hard and the road isnt smooth. Any ideas?? :( Cheers, Nick
  19. hey guys. thanks for your advice. but i got myself some falken rt615s! haha. its a road/semis. however, the size of the tire is 215/45/16. i got them for only 210 per corner fitted and balance (the 4 tires were his last set he had in stock and it might be some old stock but who cares :D ). re001 costed the same but i decided to go for the falkens. i got these tires at TYREPOWER Hawthorn. he's really giving out great deals. those ppl from melbourne looking for cheap and good tires, head over there man. look for mickey. Anyways, i was kinda shocked when he said 215/45 would fit my car as i knew the max size is only 205/50. but according to him, the falkens are old size and 215 is actually slightly smaller than the new 205?!?! all in all, im really impressed with the falkens. really good sticky tires however, it may be a lil noisy compared to the previous turanzas i had on. haha but oh well. cant get the best of both worlds. if you guys want pics of the tires, ill get them for you. just pm me. Cheers, Nick

  22. Hey guys. i was at tyrepower hawthorn, Melbourne yesterday and mickey(the owner) quoted me some tires in which i think was quite a good deal First of all. He quoted me Kumho KU31's for $170 fitted ( per side ). Was reading online and it seems that ku31 are actually quite good in performance and also in the wet. 2ndly, he quoted me some Bridgestone R300 or E300.. cant really remember. hahah it was also at 170 fitted. not sure about this tires as i havent really heard about them before. anyways, could you guys give me some advice on which tires to get? im heading towards the kumhos direction and i'd appreciate it if someone were to throw some advice! Cheers, NIck
