  1. sorry my mistake. opps... on the label it should be 220xxx (different unit) which is equivalent to 32psi, and it has made significant difference on fuel consumption. thinking if I should put it up to 33psi.
  2. But the label says 23 psi for normal driving? I've got a 2005 Corolla with original tyres. Please advise. Thanks very much.
  3. saw a Chinese program saying that they did the safty test on the same car and the result is satisfactory. they said that someone just wanted to hit Chinese automotive industry's reputation and stop them entering into european market... don't know if we should believe, but I won't buy any china made cars, at least in 8 or 10 years time. no matter how cheap they are.
  4. maybe I should try wiping it instead of press and lift, plus change a leather one... won't bath towel cause swirls? or I'm worrying too much but the paint is not actually that weak? another question are those spray on type wax the same good as liquid ones? saw the eagle one wax as you dry, sounds saving lots of time but curious about the outcome. anyone tried?? last question can new car be polished?? many thanks!! :D I use the "Armoral' brand chamois (it has like a honeycomb style pattern on it) and use it to take the water off the car and wipe it dry. Remember the secret is to wipe, then wring, wipe wring. Otherwise you are gonna get too much water on the chamois and it becomes as useful as (.Y.) on a bull. I then use an old bath towel that doesn't drop lint and stuff for a final wipe. Windows - take the water off with the chamois, then I use a 75/25 Metho/Water mix in a spray bottle with newspaper. ←
  5. maybe this is a question out of the topic but just want to ask you guys, how do you dry your car after wash?? I bought a synthetic chamois after reading lots of posts, after wash I just put it onto the car then press lightly, then lift it and squeeze the water out and move to the next section. But I still find water spots. Am I doing anything wrong??? or I just need lots of chamois to repeat the step? or pure cotton cloth will do a better job? Please help... thanks. oh anyone give me so ideas if those spray on wax products are good? doing the job as good as those liquid ones? many thanks.
  6. Thanks a lot for all your valuable advices! Is Ming a film brand or what? some tinters said the bubbling we see on some cars on the road is because they're not using metalised films but not the matter how good the films are put on, is this true??
  7. I just bought a new corolla and want to get the windows tinted. I've been shopped around and got a quote from premier tint in Blacktown for $250 with 99% uv protection and 65% heat rejection, and from solar tint in bankstown for $295 for similar thing both offer lifetime warranty. Any one here got your car window tinted recently? Are these good prices? Which company is better or any other good ones? I know some mobile people can offer cheaper prices but will there be a problem with warranty? Like when there're any problems happen the person can't be found... Please give me some advices. Thanks a lot.
