Ive thought about doing this as well, when you open the boot and look under there seems to be a cutout of 6x9's. But ive heard that if you cut into that shelf you are weakening the rear structure of the car and hence not roadworthy :S I hope i am wrong as i want to know as well.

My quick fix....run the fan on Max ie 4 for about 1min dont be afraid, it wont break. Then add some glen 20 and the basic air freshener on your vent and presto nice smelling air :D
