Hi guys, I was wondering can the Aurion read DVD - R disks on the factory satnav unit? I would like to burn audio files onto the disk in a DATA way then being a audio disk. What I mean is at the moment I burn onto CD-R in iTunes therefor I can have 700MB and around 100 tracks on a single disk. iTunes gives the option to burn to a DVD and if you think about it a DVD is 4.7GB there for I could have 4.7GB of music around 1000 tracks I could have on a single DVD disk. My son has a current E350 and the night time assist doesn't really work. What I mean is that we did a little test I stood up the street and my son could barely see me turn the night time assist on and he still couldn't really see me like in the day. So it works but it doesn's more of a gimmic if anything but still cool to have

On this note how could you get the latest maps?. Would it be a torrent search? or would you need to have a original copy of the maps disk. Would you need to burn it with a special dvd burning program that can read the data files or would nero do the job?. cause it would be good if you can save 500$ on a map dvd and waste about 10 blank dvds every time it plays up just burn another. thanks

Can't say I've heard of these issues before. I would suggest you get your tie-rod ends, wheel bearings and steering rack tested by a reputable mechanic as this is the only way you'll get a definite answer. Same with your brakes. If there is something wrong with either of these I wouldn't waste time on a forum asking about it - book it in for an inspection asap. Also, PLEASE use punctuation and maybe even correct spelling... It's a nightmare trying to read your post. A full stop every now and then doesn't take that much effort but it does make for far easier reading and as a bonus people will treat you with more respect especially given that you're old enough to have a son on his L's. hi guys i ha a 2008 ZR6 with 33 thousand KHS on the clock haven't done major mods to it eye lids and a few trim inserts have been changed around i noticed when i first got the car brand new that if i had the wheel on full lock i would feel a click in the steering but now being a few years old i can feel a click in the center of the wheel and even more noticeable on a full lock you can just see the click in the wheel if you look hard enough and now that my son has had his Ls for 5months now he says he can feel the breaks could be better he says he applies the breaks to a cretin pressure and when he hits 20KPHs every time it is the breaks feel like they let go and he has to apply more pressure i cant feel this when i break and my son can feel the clicks in the wheel as well my car has not been in any accidents has anyone else had these kind of issues before with theres?

ok thanks again your way is easier i thought i would have been a case of just undoing a few screws holding the socket moving a drilling but no sounds of it ill be doing it the way youve said thanks again

i was thinking more along the lines of moving it completely and having it come through the side of the glovebox or would that be more of a pain the just rewiring it

hi guys, i was wondering if i could possibly move the 12volt power source to the glove box (the one im talking about is under the satnav scree in front of gear select) because when im on the go i would be charging my phone and id put it on the glovebox anyway why im saying this is so i dont have to look at in while im driving haha and so theres no leads running all over the interior any ideas???

i actually wouldn't mind it if toyota would frig that 3rd reflector off in the middle of the bumper!!! and a few other little details but thats the main one THE 3RD REFLECTOR!!!

Really the aurion dosent have a Lexus engine that's what made me buy the aurion because the guys at my dealership said it had the rx engine and gearbox and the other was my Benz nut son was impressed with the aurion engine and how responsive it is over his E350 he said put a Lexus badge on it with a haha your an idiot smile on his face

Ever seen Holden guys with their Chevy badges would I be a idiot if I was to put the Lexus badge on the Aurion well let’s face it has a Lexus engine right thanks

Thanks djkor I knew about the top screws and the push clip but I didn't know about the bottom part with the hook things I was pulling at it and it didn't want to move or come loose so I posted this up for some help as is it still wasent as easy as I thort at removing the lower part of the grill thanks
