Hi Guys I am looking at buying a 1990 TOYOTA COROLLA AE92 CSX SECA as transport. I have had these before ... but only in 5spd manuals. There is one for sale, but it's an auto. Does anyone know how much worse the fuel economy would be in an auto over a manual in this model ?? Cheers sm.

Hi Guys Just wondering approx how much $$ I would be looking at, for a mechanic to replace a timing belt ? 92 Corolla Seca (think its the 1.6Lt job - havnt bought the car yet)? The seller reckons he had the belt replaced at 100k, and it's now at 160k's. I am guessing that it's due for a new belt? Sound right to you ? Any other tips on thing's to suss out when buying a 92 Corolla would be helpful. Thanks in advance, Guys sm.
