  1. Hey guys.. just wondering if yous have had this problem before, when accelerating through first gear in my triton ute, when i hit 3-4k revs the whole front of the car will start to shake, then when i change to 3rd itll stop and then start again when the revs start to get higher. to me it doesnt seem like a wheel alignment or balancing problem as it occurs at low speeds. although i only noticed it when i scrubbed my wheel a couple of weeks ago, and the problem has gotten worse since. any suggestions?!!? cheers
  2. Well done. You do realise that police do troll internet car forums for stupid things like this.So saying they don't have a clue is a croc, you've just admitted to doing that, hope you get caught. They have these things for a reason, modern day cats are extremely efficient as has been mentioned, especially on the sportivo. iit was just a question... well... if i get extractors should i keep the current stock one ? to gain more power the one needs to burn fuel quicker more quickly, thus getting it in and out quicker, the most obvious way is to reduce restrictions in the exhaust and inlet. cat converters have alot of restrictions particularly stock ones. This is why 100% of track and race cars dont run with a cat converter as they are not required to have one and it reduces power, however this is illegal on a road registered car as pointed out by these tossers. yet its your car and opinions from pu55ys like these shouldnt deter you. i've worked on many track and racing cars and they have all ran a cat converter. where in this qoute do yu see wether he wants to use it on the street, is worried about cops and epa?? no offence intended for anyone but for all we know, hes planning on dragging or tracking his car. the point is, less restrictions = higher flow = more power.. which is nothing to do with police and epa and website patrol police.. answer dugongs question properly.. or dont.. why would you drag race a corolla??? obviously its for the street Well i have 2 cars, and use my corolla for track meets. i use a full kakimoto exhaust, Spec R - a racing spec, which in actual fact doesnt come with a cat converter for "higher flow". Kakimoto build spec r exhausts for most car types, the mid pipe is straight through for higher flow, for race use, but there wrong, not you..

  4. Stock - less flow, more restrictive, slower High flow - Higher flowing, less restrictive, faster None - Very high flow, no restriction, fastest

  6. original is a brand that make car parts.. hence an "orignal" muffler and an "original" turbine kit
  7. Yeah agreed. On the off chance he did want a Sportivo they can be picked up 2nd hand some of them for $20,000 - $24,000 now with relatively low k's. The Germans and Japanese have been the two driving forces in car manufacturing. Safety, performance etc etc. The majority of the German cars are pretty expensive to service as are parts, but by *** they are reliable many of them. in that case, go for VW, same price brand new, no kays :D, as far as parts, atleast yu wont have to buy gaskets
  8. i reckon the the best match would be the polo gti or golf gti if talking about cars available in the market.. polo gti's are cheaper then the sportivo and are turboed :D with 140kw
  9. dude relax yur nuts.. the poor kid asked if he should buy a kit from carmate.. so far hes got an opinion from some loser who watched fast and the furious 50 times in slow mo and has talked to the director "apparently" and someone who again apparentlly painted and moulded their own **** kit.. as far as smash repairers not painting kits.. THERE SMASH REPAIRERS.. they fixed broken kits, but nah, they cant fix, no i take that back spray kits that are slightly misshaped.. well now from someone who actually bought something from there.. i thought they were good.. they kit fitted extremely well straight from the shop, and i guess the others do as they are mass produced.. so from anyone else who acutally bought anything from there step up.. cause at the moment were only hearing.. "i heards".. mate if it helps.. i reckon buy the kit.. its not gonna cost yu an arm.. its gonna fit pretty bloody well.. hey maybe yu wont be able to jump trains with vin deisel but atleast yull have a decent looking car.. the way yu want it.. not the way some ***** persuades yu in to looking like another clone from the army.. as for yu feggots who think they know carmate.. ive actually been in the workshop with them.. ive seem them mould.. sand and paint.. they do import there kits but still are educated in the field of fibreglass moulding.. considering they are related to there asian "moulders" i think it would suffice that they do mould the kits themselves.. considering they act under there business name.. so after santa clause ho ho's his malicious attack that apparently wasnt a malicious attack maybe yu might have a view at what yu actually wanted buddy..
  10. see, this is why this forum has gone down hill, with bias opinions based on granny style options like fitting factory body kits from toyota and c-one, and even still basing your opinions on a movie scene, grow up. Yous all want to look different, stand out and be scene, but to me, yous all look the same, "WOAH man hes got a sportivo lip", dude my mums got a sportivo, if its available from factory, how exactly are yu gonna stand out?? Carmate like every other bodykit manufacturers have imperfections, they use fibreglass moulds to make there kits, personally i wouldnt deal with someone who wanted to set up an account with me either, with no prior customer history especially. i think, $400 is an extremely good price for fitment, considering carmate make bulk kits daily, getting out little imperfections is pointless to them, untill fitment, cause there most likely to get damaged in transport anyways, i paid $500 for my carmate kit to get fitted, that included painting, high filled, and small jobs to make it a perfect fit, and that was a smash repairs, therefore carmate are more likely to do a better job considering they are fibreglass moulders... so, if you wanna stand out and be seen amongst these toyota grannys, spend the measly $800 for FITTED compared to the over a grand price for SUPPLY ONLY..
  11. that things hot mannnnn.. whys he selling?!?!?!.. and secondly whys he selling with all that shkit on?!?!?
  12. considering the radiators at the front.. maybe there
  13. dude.. all my stuff was the same.. its cause its freash and new.. just give the whole car a buff and itll match.. or if not.. just dirty the new stuff :P
  14. the mr-s is and you get the same 2zzge as the sportivo. u thought it had the same 1zz-fe engine as the corolla?? yer im really interested in the mr2 but im having doubts wether or not the gearbox is good enough.. my corolla at the moment is only a weekend car.. i drive a ute during the week.. so an mr2 would be very ideal.. has anyone seen any reviews on it??
