  1. Ammonia? Is that the stuff that make your car smell like drunk guy's *****?
  2. Telstra seems to fit in nicely with your description there mate . There's a tiny tiny chance of Sol Trujillo trolling this forum from the US, outrage at your statement and calling you backward after pocketing $20 Mil payout.
  3. Whoa, Capodien, do Toyota Service Departments accept that? Where is your local Dealership?
  4. Thanks Daryl, you're always the most helpful guy in here mate!
  5. Does this apply to all cars under warranty, 60,000km or have to be brought brand new?
  6. Wow Daniel, congrat on the upgrade! It's a 09 FG XR6T right? Once you put on some mods, it will be a bullet in straight line. You might want to do a bit of brake upgrade down the line. Fuel consumption will not be a strong point though but i guess who worries about fuel consumption when buying a XR6T. Cheers, Kenny
  7. Wow Daryl, you've gotta have really fast hands and legs to do all that especially first stage. I imagine you have someone turning the dial for you while you're running around your car . $2 only give me 2.5 minutes here in Sydney :( , it means i have to be even quicker than you to make that 4 bucks worth . Last time i tried, unsuccessful! Probably i have to cop out a buck or two more. I read someone in the detailing car section use 2 buckets wash method at self serve station but i can't get my head around where they've got the water from. Do you bring some water with you or you just use whatever they've got?
  8. Hi Pete, don't know how this clay thing works but if you could do my car, i'll make sure you don't need to eat nor drink anything but beer and pizza for a whole day :P . Kenny
  9. Hi Tash, the fact that yours is manual overcome the lagging problem and it might help with fuel consumption too. If it wasn't for my missus who can only drive Auto, i would have taken a manual. Lagging problem with 5SP Auto was un-bearable to me. I remember everytime i tried to accelerate out of a corner or a roundabout, if i push it gentle, it'll slowwwly creeping up and if i want to go fast and put my foot down too hard, it makes the situation even worst. It took 1.5 to 2 second for the car to decide that it need to kick down to lower gear and accelerate, believe me i counted the time! So the way i adopted to overcome that lagging problem is to press my foot down 1.5 to 2 second before i needed it to accelerate hard. Ok back to the topic, i've also got pretty good fuel consumption on freeway around 8.5L/100Km with 91RON Unleaded but hey, which car isn't? A Hummer?
  10. Hi El, you already have a 07 Camry Grande, don't know why you need a 06 Altise for. When i used to have the 07 Camry Sportivo, fuel consumption base on my manual calculation, which is much more accurate than in-dash computer, is around 11.5 to 12 L/100k, computer always display 1L lower, bull****! 95% Sydney Metro driving, 5% free way, driving style: normal, not too hash, not too slow. With 70L tank, theoricaly i can get 583 Km out one tank but normaly only 450Km and the computer say range = 0 . That thing is so slow, sluggish and drink the same amount of juice as V6 Aurion, so i got rid of it. My old manual 91 Camry can beat it without a sweat. The only plus is it looks beautiful, no doubt.
  11. WHY WOULD YOU LET YOUR WIFE IN THE CAR IN FIRST PLACE?
  12. I don't know about other people but after I put a HID kit from Scambay in my last Camry and adjusted my headlight, I've asked everyone if the new headlight is too bright, too much glare. 100% of them said that it looks totally fine, it won't bother them. I've never got flash from other road users because of my HID light. I've got pulled over so many times for random breath test, the cops always walk around the car and have never mention a thing about my headlight. So AM I being selfish here? How is that effecting other road users? Am I murdering someone with my headlight here?
  13. What a shame, that Aurion was in driveable section before, i think they've just changed it. The IS250 looks very nice, i wonder how much normally this would be at the auction, over $25k is out of my comfortable zone. Thanks for your time Daryl.
  14. 9.9L per 100Km, around 12L/100Km urban driving, unbearable lag in corners and under power, these are exactly why i sold my 2007 Camry Sportivo to go for an Aurion. I can't believe it took them 3 years to make the change. I don't care much about ANCAP rating. Lets see Gen6 Camry's price free falling now. Glad i got rid of it before the change. Good move! :D
