I spent a few hours figuring out how to replace the city lights. Hope this will benefit some. These are 194 peanut bulbs. This is the cross reference: T10, W5W (this was what was written on the stock bulb), 158, 168, 147 152 158 159 161 168 184 192 193 901 904 912 916 917 918 920 921 922 923 926 927 and more The stock bulb reads: KOTO 12V5W W5W 43A Here is a picture of the bulb. So here is the mission. Replace this bulb: Step 1: Locate. Its about diagonally 5cm below the low beam bulb. Yank on the wire and you will see the bulb moving in the headlight housing. Step 2: Twist clockwise. DO NOT pull. Twist. It will come loose. This is what the pins look like: Step 3: Replace the bulb and put it back in reverse. Twise counter-clock wise. Done (:

I got inspired by some bloke on 9thgencorolla.com so I decided to make a DIY! Here's the finished product: Equipment: * Fabric - 50cm x 40cm (you can play around with the sizes depending on how thick you want the strip to be). * Scissors Step 1: Cut out the fabric in 5 equal strips, each about 40cm long (the width is up to you) You will notice that the strip could be frayed, so here's how to deal with it without sewing up the seams. (Or you could sew it up if you like). Step 2: At both ends, fold a strip two-thirds along the width like this. Step 3: At both ends, fold the other side to overlap. You will need to keep the strip in tension. Step 4: Whilst keeping the tension in the strip, drape it over the headrest. Step 5: Cross over the bottom ends and make a knot (ribbon or dead knot - up to you). Here, I am making a dead-knot. Step 6: Trim the loose ends and frayed bits down. Time taken: 20 minutes

Thanks all! I couldn't find a way to modify the brake fluid reservoir as the inlets dictate its orientation. Breaking the welds and re-welding would compromise the integrity of the strut bar so I ended up getting a new one from Japan. Will post pictures when it arrives this week!

OK, so I went through all this trouble getting my mate to bring one over from the US all the way to New Zealand and this shat happens..... Brake fluid is in the way! I then realize I have a Japanese Domestic Model. Any mods I can do? I don't want to give up without a fight! The part number is MR-SB-TCO01. thx guys, the door trims are DIY. got $13 worth of satin from spotlight with some leftover. might do the pillars next. i'm going to get a megan racing front tower brace to go under the hood, followed by a Green Panel filter which is on its way to NZ! (:

I usuall get 420-450km out of my 1ZZ-FE for city driving. 400km is a bit on the low side, but not by very much. If you make lots of short trips, that will consume more petrol. Starting and stopping frequently generally consumes more petrol.

Well it really depends on what RPM range you're looking at driving in. Low - SRI High - CAI Also, do you live in a wet area? If you do, stick to the SRI.
