  1. Time for another big cruise guys. This one will be a rather more fuel efficient cruise... We will crack the BBQ open again and cook up a feast. Meet: P6 Carpark Time: 11am Date: 16th July 2006 Destination: Berrowra Waters park via galston gorge followed by an old pac run after the BBQ. Route: Quite simple really. From P6 Carpark, we will follow australia avenue down to the roundabout underneath the homebush bay drive. We will turn left at this roundabout onto homebush bay Drive. From here we will follow this all the way until we hit the Pacific HWY turnoff. We follow this road PAST the newcastle FWY entry point until a set of lights where we make a right and continue along the Pacific HWY. When We reach Hookhams Corner, we make a left onto Galston Road. This will take us all the way along until we hit Galston Gorge. After we come up the other side of the gorge, we will make a right hand turn onto Arcadia Rd. This road will then turn into Bay rd and just before we reach Berrowra waters there is a BBQ picnic park where we will stop and crack open the snags. After lunch, for the diehard fans, we will cross the water and continue along Berrowra Waters Rd until we hit the Pacific Hwy where we will take a left and complete an Old Pac Run. For those who wish to leave, when you hit the Pacific Hwy, make a left and then your first right will take you onto the sydney turnoff onto the Freeway and im sure you all know your way home from there. Promises to be a good day with hopefully good weather, but just bring a jacket incase. The more corollas, the merrier the cruise will be :D Sausage sizzles - $2.50 Cans of Drink - $1 Whos coming? ORO11A
  2. the only ae92 rolla i know that has run a quicker time that is STREET legal dan is rigoli's corolla which ran a 12.8.
  3. Pity you guys missed the terrigal cruise. We had about 60 corollas show up. Was a fantastic day. Keep an eye out, i will be organising another big cruise soon. Thinking of going north again due to the fact its getting cold and dont think many people are keen to head south :P
  4. Its all booked out for the next couple of months or so anyway. I was hoping for a friday as i think that would be the most suitable day for people to take off and that way you can stay over night on friday. Should i just shoot a date? any objections to that?
  5. Guys... can we get an interest in a date? So we can set this up?
  6. Myself and Daniel are enquiring about it now guys... From what daniel tells me, the wait for the track is a while... maybe a couple of months but i think that will work in our favour, gives more time for people to get ready... Also it looks like it will have to be a weekday... most probably friday, as weekends are $2000 extra per day. oh and i have also just had a look at thier website too. The prices we have been told verbally do not match up with the site listed prices, so ofcourse we are double checking what it will cost us for an entire day with all the things nessesary such as licences/insurance what ever the case might be.
  7. I just recently attended a track day. I was informed to hire the track the whole day it costs $3000 all up. So obviously the more cars you get, the cheaper it is. However obviously the more cars you get, the less track time you have as your only allowed out in packs of 8-10 cas at a time. 30 cars is a good number.
  8. Myself and the President of the Sydney Rolla Club have been interested in holding a track day at Wakefield. Our only concern was numbers.... but we should be able to donate 10-20 cars to a track day... all ofcourse depends on organisation
  9. :( agreed. The next one will be posted up soon mate. There shall be no confusion with this one, the date will be clear and will have plenty of time for people to organise a day off or whatever the case might be. Keep an eye out guys, as mentioned... our last cruise was a complete success and was really really good with about 60 corollas showing up. The next one we hope will be as good!
  10. Sorry guyts i know its a muck around... but due to the other posted cruise and due to so many date changes, there is too much confusion as to when this cruise should be held. There is also a bathurst corolla cruise in the upcoming weeks which is conflicting with this too. This cruise is going to be cancelled and there will be a Big Corolla Cruise posted up soon guys... a fresh start with no date changes. May not be Tallowa dam as heading south will be cold.
  11. GUYS I AM CHANGING THE DATE OFFICIALLY TO SATURDAY THE 3RD OF JUNE. I HOPE TO SEE ALL YOU GUYS THERE TO PUT IN THE EFFORT TO COME OUT FOR A GREAT DAY. THERE HAS BEEN A BIT OF A MESS WITH THE DATES AND EVERYTHING BUT THIS IS THE SET DATE AND IM GUNNA BE THERE REGARDLESS.
  12. qood question... this cruise is actually currently in debate... it may even be moved to the 4th of june which is ludacris... i want to get get definate interest and i shall decide... however this cruise was organised before that cruise, and i find it peculiar how the destination and route is exactly the same as this one oganised here. So i guess this cruise will definatly still go ahead... also the point of this cruise was majority corollas only. So therefore it wouldnt be the best idea to postpone this cruise a week later to join the so called "larger" cruise when there is cars attending other than corollas. Im sure you guys will have a great day regardless.
  13. mate that would be awsome! your definatly welcome. I was gunna suggest it anyway. But yeh definatly come by, i think that would be great. Theres still probably gunna be quite a few more coming so it should be great. Just post up when you got a definate choice, as we will then be able to get a good idea of BBQ needs. Cheers!
