  5. Tony, what sort of air filter are you now using? Fuel consumption - I have FWD KXR that does main suburban driving and average 10.3l/100 km. Tyre pressure 35psi all round. If my wife drives, it goes up to about 12. Hi...... well the air filter is from repco... it cost me like 30 bucks... so i guess its just a standard one.... but i guess a brand new filter will help. "main suburban driving and average 10.3l/100 km" that's very good....... i only average 10L/100km when i do freeway form melb to bendigo. but mine is an 03' AWD grande. your new engine is good........
  6. Yaaaaaa... I recon the city driving give you the high reading.. in city driving (driving around melbourne CBD)...i also received the reading of 14-15L. and i have been using shell v-power for about 1 year... in urban/city driving, my reading will be between 11-12L/100km. Well as for tyre pressure... i'm currently running at 32 front and 28 rear, because i'm not carrying any passenger. I've try putting the pressure up to 38psi in all four tyres. and did only improve a tinny bit, less and 1/2L different per 100km. BUT the car will be supper bumpyyyyy... you will notice every tinny bumps on the road.. even a tiny rock.. and it's good dam unconfitable... So if you want the car to drive like a luxury car. try putting the pressure done to 30psi and FEEL THE DIFFERNET. Try on a speed hump and enjoy the softness of going over it.. cheeeeeeeersssssssssssssssssssss Tony.. PS... Just changed my air filter, and the air filter make a HUGE differnet in fuell comsumption.......so if you havn't done so... please please change it and let me know the different...........
  7. thanks... i will give scott a ring.. i rang chatstone toyota... and they quoted me $550 for my 100k service...... i rang mulgrave toyota... and they quoted me $450.. that;'s a bit tooooo exp........................ i try scott and see how they goes.... by the way... what is the Tocau member??? how much discount do i get... and how do i join then.... tony

  10. hi... y is tyre size 275/65/17 will gives me a lower speed reading compare to 225/65/17??? isn't it the same size rim and same ratio?? y wider tyre effect my speedo reading??? also will wider tyre means that my fuel comsumption gonna be more........ abit confuseeeeeeeeeeeee.... please explain......
  11. hi DJKOR... I understand wat you try to say..... but it really personal prefrences.... well i also like to do a bit of modification to my kluger.. u know just to make it looook abit different... I like your car.... this it all stock or some mod..?? wat tyre u got on it??
  12. hi GUYSSSSSSS.. Well i really don;t know y you guys are so fusssss about this HID 6000k......I rang AMMI and they say it;s 100% cover on my comprehensive policy... They say....... the rule is .. The light must not be tinted... the light must not be relected in any color... eg blue.. hence they also say.. HID 4000k, hid 4300k, hid 6000k, is alll passssss.... BUT NOT HID8000k or HID 10000k. cus they relected color... SO I MUST SAY I'M COVEREDDDDD...... mine is HID 6000k by the way.. it;s only clear white light..... and as long as you used the light for the road.. and not to blind otherssssss..... the stock light will do more damages to others is you point the light up...... by the way... has any1 rang VICroadsssssssssssssssssssssssssss.........
