Work out the overall diameter/circumference of the tyres, that should tell you the story. Roll lout is the biggest concern you will have, this is the distance the wheel takes to do one complete revolution. Put a chalk mark on the tyre (I use a level across the centre of the tyre)put a coresponding mark on the ground, then roll the vehicle (or just the tyre) along until the mark on the tyre reaches the level again, then put a coresponing mark on the ground again. Now measure the distance betweeen the two markes on the ground and that is roll out. Now measure the length of your chains, any diference between wheel roll out and chain length will tell you if they will fit. I would think not as you might have trouble hooking them up. Good luck. Hi All, My LC200 doesn't have Reverse Camera or Parkassist. So I want to add a Toyota Reverse Camera+LCD Mirror Screen or Parkassist (Toyota Parking sensors). I'm not sure which one I should get, or both of them? Many thanks.

Just came back from the snow last night with my few days old LC200 and can do nothing for all the dirt today. Because it is MONDAY today

Just came back from the Snow with the LC200. As the LC200 has Vehicle stability control (VSC), which made the whole driving lots comfortable. (My Prado GXL doesn't have the VSC as it was the 1st few LC120 in OZ). My LC80 was the run out model and must the best LC80 ever built, that was the reason I kept it for 12 years till my wife et sick with it <_< I still don't like the built quality of my Prado as the cheap plastic everywhere (cf LC80: both GLX). The new LC200 GLX have even more cheap plastic than the Prado! Sometime I'm think Toyotal just testing our patient

Thank god still someone here Just get my LC200 this week. The LC200 is LOTS BIGGER than my old friend LC80 and Prado! Even the LC200 has a V8 engine, but still feel slower than the Prado: driving the Prado is more like a sport car cf the LC200

Hi All, I have snow chains for my old LC80, it has 275/70R16 wheels. My current LC200 has 285/65R17 wheels. Can the old snow chains fit into the new 17' wheels or not? Thanks...

There is 2010 Prado just few months away only. If you are going for the new Prado, or even an useed one, you will be better off just wait till end of year. The last row seat is never comfortable, but the kids will copy as usual :-)

The sales persons are more than competent to get every single last cent from you as that is the way to make a living. So there are no such thing call 'goodwill' with them. Check the tips from the post "Kluger Price". Go to see the dealer during your day off - spend at least 3 to 4 hours with the sales person; who will (have to) give you the best price.

Cargo Mat always given by the dealer with the new car for free. Check the previous post for the sidestep: buy from eBay & DIY cheap :D

I showed them Diagram G and a copy of page 311 in the manual and asked them which one they would use. They pick page 311. I gave the copy to them and also told them that the tyres are all marked. Checked after the service, it was correctly done. Somehow the right front tyre's outer rim was worn more. So a front and rear wheel alignment were performed. Cost $50 extra. U R Legends!

No one want to tell me the good or bad? Anyway, I have traded in my 80' Series LandCruiser and getting the 200' Series.

Just a small tip: if you order any 'Dealer fit items' with any car over 57K, you will be better off to hold them off till the car get its 1st service and fit them then. No point to pay the government 33% Luxury Car Tax. :rolleyes:

I found that page in the owner's manual. Page 311. However, the way suggested in the manual is a bit different from the Diagram G above. Which one should be used? Thanks. Make copies of the Diagram from the owner's manual page 311, put it on the service booklet each time to remind them. Because it is official and they can't bulls*** with you. What do you think? :rolleyes:

After 12 years with my 80' Series LandCruiser, I was not impressive the built quality with my 120' Series Prado. After test drive the Kluger I feel the Prado was better built! Why not give the 200' Series LandCruiser a go? If the 4WD Kluger can drive (by city sleeker) in the snow without fitting on chains, it must be a capable/really AWD.

The black ice (or overnight snow compact by many passed by cars) gave me most the trouble.

As current owner of 80' Series LandCruiser since '97, I found my 120' Series Prado has more cheap plastic everwhere. My 80' Series LandCruiser is still going stronge and never give me a single trouble past 12 years. It is the best car I own so far. Many of you own few LandCruiser over the years, I love to hear from you.
