The power steering went on our 08 Kluger KX-S. The local dealer tells me it is the power steering ECU that is the problem. The quote is 'a little under $900' for the part and labour. But there is a 3 to 4 week wait as the part isn't available in the country as it 'so rarely fails we dont keep any stock'. Can I ask any helpful souls out there who know: Is this a reasonable part for a simple ECU and replacement? Is this 3-4 week wait normal, and how is that acceptable when I can air freight a part from overseas within days. Can these parts be sourced independently.. waiting almost a month in this day and age just seems unacceptable. Any hints or advice? Cheers Mick
