  1. I've been in hospital and recovering from appendicitis so haven't been able to reply since I posted. Everything is still for sale and I will have pics shortly.
  2. The car's long gone, but I have several original parts still that I'd like to sell. PM me for pics or to haggle. 4 springs & rear sway bar - all original fitment removed from a '04 Sportivo at 10,000kms, so basically new. They were replaced by lowered Eibachs and a Whiteline sway bar that went with the car when sold. TRD Cold Air Induction kit, was on the car for about 4 years, but car was sold with original air box. I also have the TRD filter and an aftermarket K&N to fit. In original TRD (USA) packaging. genuine Toyota trd style mesh grille - bought for the car but never fitted. Unpainted, in original Toyota packaging. All genuine offers considered.
  3. :o :o :o What happened Cam? I trust everyone was OK... SILVERBULLIT had some nice chromies on his car, so maybe check his garage. The wheels and tyres forum may be helpful also. Hmm, thanks guys but it wasn't Silvabullit's wheels I was thinking of, and Bangn's are cool but a bit much like the stock wheels for my liking. I guess I'll keep looking... Some tool hit my Lotus in a 4wd when I was sitting at the lights during the Clipsal 500 and smashed the back end in, destroying the suspension, tub and most of the engine. Neck was a bit sore, but no lasting damage to me. The car was over 2 years old, so I don't get a new one automatically from my insurance. I'm thinking an Evo X might be nice :)
  4. Hi all, it's been quite a while since I've posted. My missus still has my old Sportivo, and my Elise was written off! On the lookout for a new ride, but in the meantime, I'm thinking of putting new wheels on the 'tivo. Now a while ago someone on here posted pics of shiny chrome wheels on their Sportivo, from memory the pics were taken in an underground garage. I've searched everywhere but can't find them. I'd like to know what wheels they were, they looked really perty. Ciao
  5. Where/how did you mount the 6x9's ?
  6. Why DBA front rotors and RDA rear? Do either manufacturer make both fronts and rears? How much did you pay for each bit?
  7. In SA, you have to keep your original plates so that if you get rid of the personalised plates, the old plate goes back on the car.
  8. Errr, let's just say not this side of 100K. OMFG, if thats true you payed like 50% more then I would pay here in Belgium !!! Yeah, but we are more than 50% further away from England than you.... That, and the government slugs us with a massive 'luxury tax' on expensive cars. Whatever, my car is pretty unique here in South Aus, and I just got an invite to drive in the Classic Adelaide Rally.
  9. Because I bought me a 2005 Lotuse Elise 111R. It's low (I've already scuffed the front and rear spoilers), it's loud, the suspension is tight as a nun's, there's no room inside, it's hard to keep clean (see pics), it's a bitch to get in and out of - to be honest, it's really impractical as a daily driver, and I LOVE IT! 0-100 in 4.4 seconds It lands in lift in every gear (lift point is 5800 rpm on up shifts) It out handles everything on the road (even the Murcielago up the road, heheh) and is even faster than a lot of bikes! And get this - my dealer has agreed to service it for the same price as my Sportivo!! Suffer in your jocks, biatches! :D Elise 1 Elise 2 Elise 3 Elise 4 Elise 5 Elise 6
