  1. Just for my knowledge though, what would you think the maximum tow weight of the Camry would be.. Cheers,
  2. Short answer is No lol. The brackets are different and of course if you were to tow more than the 1200kg braked capacity of Camry you would be doing so at the cost of your insurance among other things. :) I only plan to tow upto 1200kg anyway but what you said was that I cannot install the aurion towbar with the camry, right? Sad..
  3. Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help me this. Can I install the Aurion towbar to my Camry? Is the mounting bracket similar? I am talking about the genuine one and my Camry is 09. Thanks.
  4. If you are referring to the widely available US Gen 6 Camry one, then sorry to disappoint, but you may not be as lucky as you thought. Despite being available on the US delivered Camry's, the Australian spec Camry ECU differs and this is one feature that is not in there. The manual in question refers to the pre-facelift model, but I don't imagine the facelift version being any different. Oh.. I see.. what a shame... But thank you anyway...:)
  5. Hi, I remember there was a thread on this website that someone did the modification on the normal head unit so it can accept the AUX in. I have done that and it works. However, it's a while ago and I cannot remember exactly how to. Searching the old thread may help...
  6. Hi, According to the car manual that can be downloaded from internet, it can be done. But you need to have the intelligent tester thing. I am trying to contact a dealer how much they want to charge for that, but so far no response yet.
  7. Hi, I just saw one today from ebay. don't know if it's good. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160450317059&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  8. Hi I have found this on the 4WDAction forum. Not sure if it will help ----------------------------- Remove the glovebox and find the module with the single black aerial wire. Pull the plug out of the module (lots of wires) for 60 seconds then plug in again. Sit in the drivers seat with doors closed (make sure all lights are off) and cycle ignition 21 times ( off-ign on-off) Indicators will flash 20 times then press each remote new and old once then cycle ignition once more to save. By unplugging module you clear it memory so make sure to press the button all remotes. ---------------------------------
