Thanks Terry, Forgot to mention that the oil was metalic looking when I changed it. Are they easy to work on when out? Are the bearings Toyota specials or off the shelf from SKF or similar?

My Fieder Z (2ZZ-GE engine) with 6 speed. It has an annoying rattle at around 3000 to 4000 RPM with no load when well warmed up. I have looked at two other manuals and they have the same noise however mine at 65000 k's also makes a slight noise in third gear. Has anyone had bearing problems with these? Also where can I get good free information on disassembling and assembling these?
