  1. What's the cost of a logbook service with them?
  2. Not to hijack this thread, but why is the MY03 corolla rim and tire size different to all the others?
  3. I've seen you mention you do the IT for them lol. Not stalking, promise :P
  4. Is that with your staff discount or before?
  5. I'm actually in Belmont, so about 2km from Belmont Motor Repairs. I got my rego done with them in April. I guess the ease of getting there and back is a good point so I might think of them for the next service. I wouldn't mind doing it myself with some instruction from my dad who has been working with cars since before I was born, but I can't help thinking I need to keep it log book serviced to get a decent resale.
  6. Usenet would be the absolute best thing for it, especially if you like obscure and hard to find music or only collect full albums. Though it is a bit trickier to use and you will need to sign up to a provider. I'd recommend Astraweb if anyone is interested.
  7. Sorry if this is the wrong spot, couldn't think of anywhere more fitting. Anyway, I moved to Newcastle at the end of last year and I'm currently trying to find a good mechanic to go to. I've had my car done at NRMA shortly after getting here and that wasn't to bad, but does anyone have any recommendations for a mechanic they've used etc?
  8. I got a quote today for something similar but with a single DIN. $400. So, I'm reasonably handy, and the guy explained exactly how he would do it anyway, so I'm just going to do it myself. Just googled 'car audio inner melbourne' and got http://www.audiofx.com.au/. Call and see if they fabricate stuff and then just pop in for a quote.
  9. Lol nah, SuperDave is younger and with red hair. I've heard that changing ABS between cars can be an absolute nightmare though. Do you have any guides etc?
  10. I take it one of those full-front car bras are not an option? It's as good as it gets but kinda ugly unless you have a black car not the complete opposite :P http://www.greenhybrid.com/share/files/1/3/2/7/0/TCHFoglightssideviewwithbra-1.jpg
  11. Ok oooone more question if you don't mind lol. Where did you/will you be purchasing the speakers from?
  12. Ha, I was more questioning the 'and it doesn't pretty good' part :P
  13. Pete, Are Alpine speakers bad at all then? I've got the stock speakers and after putting in a new Alpine headunit I've lost a lot of bass etc so I was going to match the speakers and sub. The thing is, it's a 8 year old car that I intend to part with in 3-4 years so I don't want to spend a fortune. In saying that though, if there's little improvement, I also wouldn't want to spend the money getting the Alpine gear.
  14. How much did the Dynamat cost all up and where did you get it from?
