i used silver vinal dye, it's not silver silver, but it's not flat gray, but the end effect would be best described as a plastic texture, it's not a gloss, just looks the same different colour
does toyota (and their warranty) mind if you take the engine cover off and paint it??? and if i get the mesh grill and they have to paint it should i just get them to do the engine cover then??? and i cant see how heat would worry vinal dye, it's not really a paint and it seaps into the plastic, i might ask some one in-store see if they know.
isn't the matrix essentially usa's equiv??? the lowest the dealer would go for the silver 03 in stock was 28000 so i'm getting a red for 28700, and that is in tas where you normally don't get as good prices.
i'm about to get a red '04 sportivo and i have beaten the local dealer to $28,700 on road, + the dealer recons any accessoires i want he will sell me for cost.
What about vinal/plastic dye?
if scratched it's still the colour, you can mask off areas you don't want covered, and other cool stuff that doesn't come to mind
any thoughts why this wouldn't work???
am getting a sportivo soooooooon and was one of the first things i was gonna do.
