  1. Hi, I have a Toyota Corolla Ascent 2009 (ZRE152R) and I'm thinking to get this: http://www.carjoying.com/au-warehouse/joying-australian-warehouse-aftermarket-best-7-inch-double-2-din-android-4-4-4-kitkat-car-stereo-player-gps-navigation-quad-core-1024-600-16gb-memory-head-unit-audio.html With this facia: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xtrons-Radio-Fascia-for-Toyota-Corolla-Installation-Kit-Car-Audio-Facia-/252162833042?ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:AU:1123 Which harness cable will I need? I have stock rear parking sensor already, will the above unit stuff up the sensor? Sorry, I'm so newbie regarding this. Also, is there a guide somewhere online on how to open the dash? Thank you
  2. Want to change my stock 2009 head unit with this one http://dx.com/p/lsqstar-8-android-4-0-car-dvd-player-w-gps-tv-rds-wi-fi-pip-swc-aux-in-3d-ui-dual-zone-for-corolla-285163#.UxJbiboayK1 Is this any good? I already have stock rear sensor, thinking of installing rear camera too, will both work at the same time with this unit? Any recommendation?
  3. Hi, Sorry, newbie here, i've searched but couldnt find anything. Anyway, i own a 2009 corolla hatch, and just recently bought a blank flip key. i brought the key to get it cut, worked fine (opens door fine), but wont start the engine. The seller told me to cut the immobilizer module from my original key and put it into the blank one. I dont want to break cut the shell, instead i just want to get it duplicated. Anyone knows where i can get it done cheaply in brisbane? Thank you
  4. how much did those set you back? i'd snap your stock wheels if you were in brisbane :(
  5. djkor, thanks mate, i'll let u know when my unit arrives. oh, do i have to get any cables? can you let me know what i need to get this connected?
  6. do you call those pieces that fill up the gaps? i'll give toyota a call on monday and see if i can get some from them. so you reckon those chinese made double dins head unit should be fine on the corolla right? and when is the best time to get it done? week days or weekends? thanks!!
  7. yes, planning to get that one, but just want to make sure if everything can be fitted into the new corolla. where do you think i can get the gaps on the side? and how much would you charge? since you are in sinnamon park, how about give a mate a hand?
  8. any idea how much would it cost to install such thing? i got a quote from both jbhifi and wow for between 200-300!!! i think that's a little steep!
  9. I'm going to buy a new GPS head unit to replace my new corolla's stock head unit. Now, where in brisbane can i get someone to install the unit for me? Anyone? Thanks
  10. i'm new here, sorry, but can you give me the url? Thanks
  11. good to hear :) which one did you actually buy? if you could please let me know which one, where and how much you bought it for, that'd be appreciated! Good to know autobarn doesn't charge as much as the rest!
  12. lol... enough chinese-POS-bashing already so what would you guys recommend?
  13. really? they look allright? what would you guys recommend then? i hate getting those portable gps devices, cause the cigarette socket in corolla is in an awkward position. i'd prefer those built in ones. i had a look at the hitv, but couldn't find anything for corolla. advice please :) budget is under $1000 :(
