  1. A turbo... that would scare the crap out of me in a 90 tarago.... i feel unsafe driving mine as it is! last thing i'd want is more power A turbo can be fitted to must cars, but you'll need to make space for an inter cooler, and I have no idea where you would start on the 90 tarago... there little space as it is.. There are factory supercharged models of the Eggvan, don't think any were sold new in Aus though (so they'd be grey imports). Uses the same SC14 supercharger as the 1GGZE that came out in Soarers/Crestas etc. In Australia all Tarago models have been naturally aspirated,unfortunately,but still I have continused to look into it and the mechanic told me that I'd have to have the passenger seat pulled out and have a metal box in it's place to fit all the turbo compnents and stuff under there.So that dreams out the window, but a 4.5inch exhaust isn't:)
  2. has any one else here got a tarago RV built after 1990?just wandering if they've done any majour engine mods,if so please reply to this and if yah can a picture'd be nice.I'm thinking of a turbo but i heard they can't be placed under the seatwhere the engine is?
  3. lets see............first car was a new camry(in th 80;s) second was a toyota t-18 just beutiful and now i have a 1990 toyota tarago rv manual
  4. tarago manual gearbox's are renowned for being a little dodgy around the 180,000km mark mine had have it rebuilt at 200,000.
  5. well i have a 1990 tarago RV and we have 15 inch mags on it there 7.5inch wide,they'll fit no probs.But i don't know about 17's.
