  9. The easiest way to find this said wire is to go down to your local auto supplier and purchase a 12volt test probe it comes with a alligator clip one end that attaches to an earth ( Car Body)and a probe that can be poked into any wire or socket if it lights u have 12 volts then turn car off it it is still alight it's a permanent 12volts

  14. i've just fitted 4x bridgestone 215/60/16 RE001 for $129 a tyre also less for NRMA members and would never use any thing else. The grip ,comfort, noise and value for money is so good plus i also picked up a $60.00 cash back card to use anywhere i choose now thats what i call a bargin...
  15. how about looking at a motor trimmer i'm sure they would be able to help you out if not they would be able to recover it fairly cheaply .
  16. I have an Aurion AT-X fitted with alloy wheels i have just fitted a set of bridgestone RE 001 215 60/16 adrenalin they are excellent in both wet and dry conditions and came at a very reasonable price $129 each fitted and balanced plus we get a $60 visa card to spend best set of tyres i've ever bought
  17. Yeah i have a 96 celica same set up as yours the split option is much better i have used boston acoustic rally series but these may be out of your budget as they cost about $500 a pair there are other options out there though alpine have some good splits there is also sony, polk, fusion if ya like green .... pioneer and so many other brands just make sure they come with a cross over so that the tweeters dont get the low bass im sure the guys at JB HI-FI could help you out here ... you may olso want to consider making a new parcel shelf out of craft wood and putting a good set of 6x9's there makes great rear fill then a four channel amp at a later stage to boost power ... Cheers
  18. Firstly the guys at JB HI-FI do know what they are on about. It would seam that your the one that don't. All you need to do is to make a spacer that fits the hole the easiest way is to trace around the original speaker then cut it out with a jig saw make it out of craft wood or ply that way you won't have vibrations then with your new speakers put it into the centre of the ring making sure it's in the middle trace around that and cut out the middle give it a light sand and paint it if you want makes the whole thing look better. the better option would have been to purchase a set of 6" splits that way you can put the tweeters back into the factory locations makes for a much better sound .... hope this helps .
  19. Hi As for the front seat removal there is a topic on here that shows you how to remove them thanx to DKOR as usual he knows everything aurion . http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28403 and as for the wiring the black is the earth red is power the best way to tap into the centre console is from under neath where the wires are connected red to red and black to black you can either crimp them together using snap terminals or the best way is to strip the red wire back using a blade and soldering them on . * Note that if you are using this you may not be able to use it for anything else as the fuse will not handle much more load .
  20. Hi I have an Aurion ATX and have done the head rest dvd conversion on this model all there is if you look at the bottom of the seat you will see carpet it is simple to remove all you need do is reach under the seat and it has elastic holding it unclip it and it will reveal 2 screws that you need to remove then its just a simple pull the plastic of the map pockets downwards and its done . not too sure if the sportivo is the same . Hope this helps
  21. here is an example off e bay it comes pre painted or painted in your choice of colour http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260595087247
  22. im not too sure but you can configure as many phones as you want just cant have 2 running at the same time i know this is how a blue ant runs not too sure if other sdo as well .
  23. TRD are great equiptment no question there but there are many suspension makers out there the likes of KONI and BILSTEIN would be more then what you would require matched with KING springs a very good quility spring you would be in business plus if you want height ajustable you can do it with both makers and some come with a sport mode . http://www.bilstein.com.au/ http://www.proven.com.au/content/koni-proven-products-shock-absorbers.html hope this helps .
  24. I installed mine over the weekend, and it arrived about 5 working days after I purchased it on ebay. My setup included hooking it up to two new headrest screens that I also bought from ebay ($200 delivered, bloody awesome!). The headrests were the hard bit, as it involved soldering to get the power from the console cigi lighter to the units. (now if only I could get the sound to be able to go directly to these screens, so the kids can use there headphone!) I need to give massive thanks to both DJKOR, for his fantastic guides for replacing the HU, and for giving me a quick personal message to ease me through the soldering (made my neighbour do it btw). I have no experience with car electrics, and the headunit replace was very simple. DJ's guides gave the confidence to attempt this mod. And that saiys a lot as I get scared when I have to jump start a car! I big thanks also needs to go to TRDCELICA, for his emails and support with most of the Headrest install. Thsi was the hard part, and he is a bloody champ. Thanks guys. Pics of the headrest would be nice.. :) ;) I also have headrests installed though mine differ from the ones bseven installed mine are actual dvd players where as bseven just has screens the ones i chose are fully motorised for the disc eject not like the other ones on the market i purchased them from straithfield car radio for $688 which ive found out it was a bargin there is a link here but much more pricey i have the 8.5" screens and theyy came with ir headphones http://www.easyparkaustralia.com.au/shop-m...dvd-player-x-2/ mine also came in grey which is so close to factory its hard to see any difference . i will post some pics soon .
