Have put the original mufflers back on for now, wasn't entirely happy with the note 1400rpm and below. so back to the drawing board. Has anyone tried stock mufflers without the resonator ?

When I had my last full alignment the rear needed mor adjusting than the front but $70 is average price for this.

you are an experienced member on the forum, and i cant beleive that you could let this happen, like me outsource to a mechanic who services you car everytime, toyotatrained of course.

Yeh.. Does this mean it has filter down the bumper like Steven mentioned? Would it be any more complicated to install compared to K&N? The vidz poster got sponsored by both K&N and Fujita. I'm guessing he got the heat shield from previous set up. you can do this if you wish, but in this case no, my intake is fully homemade and in the engine bay, unless you have the fujita CAI building a CAI is difficult and harder to get right.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as it gets cooler air from between the battery and the fusebox, there is tubing opening up the bottom of the guard, which forces cooler air into the guard and up into the engine bay. I have tested this driving on the highway and around town, stopped and checked the temp of the pipework and it's cold. the only time it heats up is when standing still, but that is temporary. On a side note can you buy the heatsheild seperate?

Anyone had trouble with the touch screen not responding ? it seems to be intermittent, but the screen doesen't respond or it gets a mind of its own ( changing page on gps mode) have written to george at easydeals636, and as usual he responded very quickly and suprised at this problem. just checking it anyone with this unit had similar problem.

Approaching 170K it stil going 10.4 to 10.8 on RON91, much better than the Ford guys they report anything from 11.5 to 14+. -

I have scratched the hell out of the front and rear bumpers with the bodywork so low. How would you go with these, be too scared to go up driveways.

have had to use dealership 4 times for warranty jobs and trans service, and I have been satisfied only once, the other times there has been stuffups of one sort or another.

After getting less than 50k from the GT radials I hve put Bob Jane Zenon, a friend got 90k+ but they were an a statesman,see how they compare on the Aurion.

Dont know if it was my GT tyres which were on their wear limit, but giving a bombadore a thrashing the other night, the traction control lit up going into second gear ! btw the boys didn't look happy.

That is unusual for oil to discolour that quick, as you know mine is a cab so there are a lot of starting and short trips and I service at 15k intervals, the oil is darker as you would expect, but not black.

Nothing of the sort - finished the factory tyres @ around 30~35K Km Mounted RE001 and then at around 60-65K km replaced them with Goodyear Excellence. Just got the car serviced 75K Km, and the dealer commented the tyres were in Fair condition.. :-p It seems we haven't found a tyre that will give good k's. will keep trying though.

you have done well daryl looking at mine , another 50k done, need to save for another set! gotta find better tyres this time I think. Gee.. I've only done 75K km and have gone through 3 sets of tyres already - how are you guys driving?!!? Sounds like you are putting dunlop factory tyres, I tried those and got 32k out of them. It seems the aurion is harsh on tyres (sx6) compared to my camry which tyres (hankook) would go 90 to 100k.

Added one more section to get it closer to the cooler air feeding up from the guard, has eliminated the lag on launch. ecconomy average 9.8 to 10.4 L/100.

yes recently changed the pads all round and they are different to the last pads installed. did the brake fluid get replaced at the time of the pad replacement ? if so what fluid was used ?. the toyota dot 3 is suggested , the later dot fluids may cause some strange issues Yes brake fluid changed and spoke to the mechs and they put in different pads this time. Maybe this is the cause.

I did 320k in four years in the camry I had before the aurion. -
