  1. haven't tried it in neutral, but I only notice it parked on level ground, maybe the locking pin for park is not fully engaging and when you give it a squirt it locks in ??????
  2. TRICO make wiper rubbers for the Aurion, the only thing you need to do is take the metal "spines" out of the old ones, slip them into the new ones. cost $21.60 the pair.the part # TRJ710-20
  3. mostly easy runs up and down the highway to the airport, the suburban work isnt too taxing on it, oh and btw we have sealed roads in the south :P
  4. Just wondered if anyone experienced a surge, stopping putting the car in park and give the throttle a squirt and the car kicking forward a couple of inches ?
  5. 35% here in tassie side and rear windows. its one of the additions I haven't done yet, but its nearly winter, can wait till it warms up again !
  6. A silly question, has the forum forgot to put the clocks back to eastern standard time ?
  7. Crikey Daryl I would be changing my oil once a month at 7500km, LOL. every 15000km for me thanks.

  9. those are brilliant night shots, and the effects is absolubtly awsome.
  10. A good job so far a refreshing more modern look to the page. tone the red down a little, its a bit much on the 42 inch monitor. lol must be half asleep, complaining about the red when ive got half a page of red car !
  11. Hi, all I can say is this is great club to be a part of, extremely helpfull especially in the "modding" department. hopefully I can be of help too. help out GO SILVER.

  12. i wondered if that was normal too, after giong up a steep hill and stopping, i thought I might have had a leak somewhere. at least if it smells that way you know your cat's are still doing their job.
  13. I've noticed that if you take your foot off the accelerator when shifting it seems to respond a lot quicker. I do take my foot off the accelerator when changing gear, but the lag is longer 2nd to 3rd gear. and I have noticed the on the change back the quickest response is the 3rd to 2nd gear change the others are a bit slow to go back.
  14. these cars must have a good reputation, the number of passengers who get in and say "these cars have a bit of grunt dont they" I am more than impressed with the power and handeling of the SX6. on a side note I do use the "S" mode on tight or hilly roads, even with the 2009 software upgrade its still slow to react when shifting. there is a demo of this in "air intake mods".
  15. probably someone like battery world would have them, but you would be paying the same as toyota.
  16. The battery model # "CR 2032" 3 volt is replacable, you will notice a small slot near the keyring open it up and the unit pops out. you should be able to get these batteries at any battery supplier.
  17. that is a nice yellow. the vic taxi yellow has ruined many a good car.Im glad that we can have any colour we like down here. and yes there is something wrong with that bonnet.
  18. that would be a sad thing to see, an aurion sacrificed to the "kennett" yellow. yuck ! :(
  19. just a quick video of sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQC50lWEV-o this was done in sequential mode, more fun that way. any comments welcome.
  20. At last the finished CAI.
  21. The inner hoon comes out occasionally ( without passengers of course ) sneak up on one of my collegues on the highway, kick it back and give them an earfull of intake and exhaust as I fly by. :P
  22. I agree with Unique give a few hundred k's to settle in, remember its got to do its learning thing. then you will see how much better it is.
  23. I'm just trying to picture the way thats been made up. I wish you coulda been able to get a photo of underneath to show us exactly how its mapped out. I'd take it to my exhaust guys straight away and go, "DO THIS." :P got to get car serviced after easter will have pics of the setup, just wished I had the patience to have tried the merge without changing the rear pipe setup, but I'll live with that.
  24. Finally finished the custom CAI ,the only thing Im not sure of is the correct dimensions of the pod filter, I currently have a standard pod from 'SUPERCHEAP" but looking at the pod that comes with the K & N, it looks bigger than the one I have, dont want to choke it. the last 3 tanks of fuel the average has been mid to low 10's on 91 ulp. pics and video to come during the week.
  25. Great to see you back Daryl. a very suitable replacement, and nice colour too.
