just check, the glove box light only comes on when you switch on your park and or headlights. I thought mine was faulty too.

I had that trouble while developing the CAI, getting the right parts in the right configuration makes all the difference. I finished it off yesterday and even then I had 2 parts that the engine managment didnt like and caused extremely quick gear changes ,felt like the car would stall at each change ! put those parts around the right way and its working perfectly. just got to experiment when DIY rather than buying aftermarket mods, if you can get them.

the size used for the front merge pipe is 2.5, the rear y pipe or split is still stock.

Im slowly getting the CAI built from the same aluminium tubing, just need to find a section that will fit down into the guard.

These solid stainless steel tips have solved the low drone I had, sounds a whole lot better too.

with a little more work on my CAI not SRI I have sorted out the problem with it going into 6th on slight incline so using "D" at the moment.

Its good to see the great results you guys are getting. I think I will have to try this too, just got to get the confidence, though if it doesn;t work rip it out I spose.

Im not sure about laws in other states , but I believe it is illegal to coast in "angel" gear. though I have done it once or twice getting to a servo.

less than 2% over 40 oh well you got to have fun before you die ! lol and Im actually seperated, so that makes me semi detached I spose. -
been under the car a few times and I cant hear any great rumble from the mufflers, its in the tail pipe and tip setup ive got, so im going shopping for better tips, I will try to get tips that go as far back to the muffler as possible, double wall etc.

What makes the Aurion better then other cars?

The arion is the best quality built in aus, I see in my industry the holdens ( mostly the statesman ) and the fords are in the workshop getting something fixed on a weekly basis. apart from a dodgy rear shocker when I bought the car, I have not had to fix anything else. Im happy with that. -
that was my thought too, same as those tube lights that were popular years ago.

dont know if that mod would be legal, but the length of the sportivo side skirt wheel arch to wheel arch is 2 metres.

Was quoted $179 at the dealer in hobart, must check if that includes a proper flush. If they are going to do the job it should be done right !

just to bring up an old thread, I have found driving in S mode much smoother and I still had the problem of it changing to 6th at highway speeds going up slight incline in D. it changes properly in S mode.

If going by my dashmat the airbag is right in the middle of the dash, not sure how it deploys as there is no defining area marked out unlike the previous camry which had a marked cover.

was this gear change noticable before you put on the SRI ? I have noticed a difference in the way it changes with mine, almost a quick flick 2nd to 3rd, its settled down now I have got the SRI the right length.

sorry to say the Aurion does not come with a manual gearbox at all, the best you will get is using the sequential shift opposed to the drive mode.

Thanks just reminds me I have to pull that cover off too to replace my EFTPOS cable for new pinpad, I will be carefull with the clips.

If you still got warranty, try for the update ecu, worked for me.

After doing 320k in my previous camry and never had the rotors off it, my aurion's rotors need machining,as I have noticed vibration braking at 80 kmh downhill, they have done 119k ,so compared to a ford they still good.

Either I was unlucky or there are not many aurions in cairns. up there for 7 days only spotted 3, plenty of camry's though.

What rotten luck with that freak storm, I hope they process the claim quickly, got stuck in melb last night for 2 hours, but lucky that storm was minor.
