  1. Hey guys i had new front brake pads put in almost a month ago now, the were blue Protexs'. When they first got put in they screeched really bad, so my cousing machined the rotors for me, it lessened the screech but it was still there so we took out the brakes grinded it down and grinded the edges as well, the car doesn't screech when moving forward but when braking when i reverse it still does and is loud, has anyone had an issue like this before and come up with a solution?
  2. I just bought my HID kit recently in Melbourne, the kit was 110 and fitted was another 30 so $140 all together, i haven't had it on for that long but they look great and have been installed quite well
  3. I really wouldn't prefer a custom CAI, can anyone confirm the right part number for the injen CAI, I want to make sure before I purchase, thanks.
  4. I think i'll be getting the Injen CAI, for those who have installed the intake on a prefacelift sportivo confirm if this is the correct part number to purchase RD2075P? because the part number sticky isn't direct in which corolla it is for, thanks
  5. The part number sticky doesnt really depict if the part number RD2075P is for the corolla sportivo's 2zzge so its left me puzzled lol
  6. I've had a look through at some of the topics on CES intake as well but it seems quite expensive, i most interested in the Injen intake as it seems to be highly reccomened
  7. Hey guys im planning to get a CAI for my 04 stivo, im tossing up between Injen and AEM, i have had a look through some of the older topics on CAI's but it hasn't been as helpful so im hoping you guys can help share your views. I was interested in Injen and AEM because from what ive read they both seem to increase low end power, for those who have had either installed share what they think. I was also wondering if the part numbers in the stick are for the corolla sportivo prefacelift and where would be best to get either of these intakes, thanks alot guys your help is much appreciated.
  8. looks like ill be getting the CES exhaust then, anyone in VIC put the CES exhaust know how much it wills et me back fitted and everything?
  9. Hey guys i'm considering a catback exhaust for my 04 corolla sportivo, i've searched the forums and have found that the CES catback is the most popular with gains of 6-9kw, has anyone installed a different branded catback and have found good power gains?
  10. nah i haven't put any CD's in the car at all because i just bought the car recently, there's a cd jammed inside so i'm gonna try and yank it out lol but if i have to get a new head unit at the end i may as well get something real nice, thanks for the offer though
  11. Hi guys i'm having an issue with my stock CD player on my corolla sportivo, it comes up with error 3, i can't eject play or put in any CD's. I've considered jsut changing the head unit but i'd rather invest money elsewehre on my car, have any of you guys experienced this problem?
  12. Thanks for the info guys, i've had a look through the forums and it seems that having super lows on the rear and lows on the front is recommended, do you guys reckon that set up is good?
  13. Oh cool, when you have a full car do you scrape speed bumps? I saw your car for sale but it was outside of my price range i scored quite a good deal for my sportivo
  14. Hi guys i just bought a Corolla Sportivo, it's full stock so it's sitting pretty high, the the first thing i want to do with the car is lower it, i've considered getting super low king springs but i don't want to be scraping speed bumps when i have a full car, i don't mind getting just low but i haven't seen many cars with them. If you guys could give me advice it would be great and maybe some pictures with low King Springs. Thanks
