  2. First - the posted pictures of the Stivo's are great - makes me wonder why I bought a assent wagon  :blink: - apart from the $$

    Second - does anyone know what sort of fuel efficiency a new car (corolla) should have? I am just about to clock the first 1000Km on the new assent, and I have had two tanks used up (100L) - Is this normal for a new car?

    Someone told me that it was because the car was being run-in. Is this true?

    Even I I factor in city driving, the current rate seems to be at around 11L / 100Km  :o  ... the book says an average of 7.7L / 100Km (but does not specify whether this is during the first 1000Km.)

    Any assitance / information would be helpful.

    Now back to drooling over those Stivo pics!  :wub:

    Fuel Consumption on the post-facelift corolla is the same as the pre-facelift corolla. Minor changes to styling only guys!
