  1. yeah the bc are fine for street use, cant comment on track use though. I got the bc rm model which you can read the specs on here http://www.bc-racing.com.au/bc-racing-coilover-suspension-kit-toyota-corolla-zze123r-zze130-nze121-01-07-c-02-ma.html I meant I replaced my actual axle beam which connects to the rear hubs not the sway bar. people tend to get either whiteline or ultra racing
  2. Get it from eBay. I got a couple cases for 10 dollars and put the insides in then got the new key cut. Or you convert to a flip key also which uses the same internals from your old key
  3. i read the other thread in suspension where people noticed a bit of a difference. i did end up getting them but the nolathane brand were not the correct part(46290), so i didnt install the rear axle poly bushes. i did however install a new torsion beam and a set of bc coilovers which improved handling a lot
  4. are there still active members here? a quick quesiton has anyone used nolathane bushes as i plan to purchase them for the rear of my sportivo rather than ordering energy suspension ones from overseas. about $70 from aus vs about $150 shipped from overseas is this the right part? kit looks different compared to energy suspension nolathane 46290: http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_detail.php?part_number=46290 energy suspension 83121: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=8.3121 thanks

  8. hey mate they will fit your 05 model. im not quite sure on how much they cost to get ported in ur state but the guys from nsw will b able to help you. Im guessing about $200 or so to port + labour to install or you can do that yourself.

  11. dynos can also vary greatly along with cars. if it was done on the same dyno, same day and condtions then it would be some what comparable.
  12. dug up the email from ces RRP $549.00 incl. GST [ * WITH EXCHANGE TRADE] OR RRP $915.00 incl. GST [WITHOUT TRADE EXCHANGE]
  13. if i remember correctly ces headers are about 550 or so for exchange or 950 with no exchange. yeah i saw your fs post. i was too slow
  14. hey all im looking for recommended workshops in brisbane to port my headers. i would prefer if they have already ported some 2zz headers before. tried searching the forum but have only found recommended interstate places. i know ces are up here but i cant afford that, plus i just bought stock headers. thanks
  15. you can go have a little talk with the pedders dude
  16. im assuming you installed them yourself? if so and you havnt driven your car yet, take it for a drive and see if it makes a difference.
  17. do you look at the part number and check if it's the lowered one? and have you driven your car after lowering yet? mine didn't lower until i moved my car
  18. for the 1zz... hmm probably any of those listed will do the trick, just depends on your budget i guess i recommend ces intake for the 2zz
  19. just the fronts. i had 205/50/16 potenzas 35 psi had me hopping/ axle tramping through 1st to 2nd on launch 22psi was good. gripped pretty much straight away
  20. you're best to install it yourself! its easy, plus there's a guide or 2 on here with pictures. would only take 1 - 2 hours tops otherwise any mechanic should be able to install it for you.
  21. With the work your getting done you should go for a whole new exhaust... 2.5in all the way. yeah i was after a 2.5" muffler with tip. they dont make any 2.5" inlet mufflers with tip. i see plenty universal mufflers that are 2.5" though. another source also says the same thing about the 2.25" > 2.5" thing about the magnaflow mufflers. any other input from anyone else? i may end up getting it
  22. i ran 20-22psi on the strip, recommended by a mate. hooked up pretty good!
