  1. So if the coilover struts i am going to buy have the adjustable pillow mount tops then i do not need to go out and buy a camber kit? I just dont want to buy the coilovers and then have to worry about finding a camber kit which i have been told might be hard to find for these Aurions?? Thanks for the quick reply too DJKOR...
  2. I am wanting to get coilovers and adjust the camber on my Aurion... but i was asked to check if my struts are McPherson in the rear, as if they are they would have pillowball top mounts, which means i can adjust the camber if the coilovers have the adjustments??? Does this make sense, and can some1 confirm this for me?? Thanks - Much appreciated. Mo
  3. Hey guys... i am wondering if anyone has had any experience fitting airbags to an aurion... If anyone is in Sydney and experienced in these installs... please PM. I am considering different brands and different setups.... Thanks.
  4. Im sorry but none of these cars you have mentioned are VIP... actually to have a VIP car you must start with a VIP platform car... which are Lexus GS, LS or ES cars, then Nissan Presidents and other makes Nissan made... we can only have VIP inspired cars.. then again its not about size of rims... 22s on an Aurion is sexy but not VIP inspired, they are all about fitment and stance, stretching your rubber to get the lip of the wheel sticking out, crazy camber and getting it as low as possible to the ground. VIP also doesnt stop with the exterior, interior gets the VIP treatment also, with GARSON and Junction Produce gear. Sorry to be so negative, if you want to see VIP inspired cars these are some examples.... im sure you now get the idea?? I am not bagging any1 out but i just thought i should set the record straight.
  5. Well after one trip out of my local area the unit isnt working again... i am going to take the unit out tonight and see if everything is connected as it should? Does any1 have any idea which plug is the GPS antenna? I have taken the unit out previously to connect up a Soundlinq2 Ipod/Iphone adapter... So im thinking maybe a plug wasnt plugged in right... If any1 can let me know so i can try and get it sorted for my trip this weekend... Thanks in advance.
  6. I went in and booked the car for a checkup for next Wednesday. I did alittle digging around on the internet and some1 suggested disconnecting the battery, so i did and left it off for about 2 mins.. Connected it back up and so far so good, it works fine now.... but i only tried it out locally (ie around the block). Im about to go for a drive though, and i will test it out. Hopefully all is good. If not i will try pulling the headunit out and seeing if there are any loose connections or something? if not i will leave it for the toyota team to check it out. Also while they are at it, they will finally take the car out of pre delivery mode so my Toytoa Link can be activated. Thanks for your help guys... and i will keep you posted.
  7. Hi guys, this is my first post.. i am a new owner of an 08 model Presara. SORRY IN ADVANCE IF THIS POST IS IN THE WRONG SECTION. My factory sat nav unit was working fine since owning the car, and yesterday i used it to navigate from the Entrance to Ettilong Beach. It took us there no issues, but then to leave the Head Unit was telling me i was in the middle of the ocean at first. After entering in an address it said to get to the highlighted route and then it will begin (as normal), but we couldnt get to the highlighted route, as i was in the middle of the Tasman Sea. I have since tried entering new addresses and no matter what i do i cannot seem to get my current location at all. It is convinced i am in the middle of the ocean. The just this morning i tried again, and it came up with the message "No roads possible for guidance near current position. Please refer to map." PLEASE someone tell me if i can simply reset my Head Unit (and how) or should i be going into my local toyota dealer and ask them to look at it.
