  1. Ok i'm an idiot, the dome fuse was blown but when i checked the volts I only checked one side on that fuse. When i pulled the fuse out to inspected it i saw it was very obviously blown. I feel dumb now.
  2. I currently have a problem with my '95 Celica SX (ST204), which won't start. When the key is in the on position all the lights in the dash come on, but the engine won't crank, i turn the key and there is literally nothing. Strangely enough at the same time this happened all the interior lights are no longer working (the courtesy lights on the sides of the door and on the roof), the clock is also not working and neither is the light on the dash to state the door is open. Every other light on the dash seems ok though. I have checked the fuses with a multimeter and they all seem to be ok. I have no idea what the problem is, the last thing i did before it stopped working was run a new RCA lead to the amplifier in the boot, but that's the only thing that's been done to it. Any help would be appreciated, I have no idea where to look?
  3. Hi, I'm new to these forums so a big hello to everyone here. I recently purchased my girlfriend a 1995 Toyota Celica ZR. Quite a nice little car, but there is a nagging question that's been bugging me. Did the ZR model come out of the factory with remote central locking fitted standard, not as an option? The previous owner gave us this dodgy silver key which seems more like something you'd have cut, leading me to believe she lost the original keys at some point. I know that if you turn the key in the drivers door it unlocks both doors, but would there be a remote for it? I also happened to notice it has a factory alarm system, but i've never ever heard the thing go off. I've looked up classified ads and they all seem to mention having it, and NRMA road tests from the time seem to support my theory the car had it as a standard item, but if someone here could confirm this or tell me what i should be looking for under the dash, i would be most appreciative. Thanks, Graham
