  1. Could be injectors? I'm not sure these modern CRD engines like fuel additives at all. I'd be very cautious about using them until full research has been done
  2. The battery light doesn't mean your battery is dead. It would have gone flat because the alternator isn't charging it. I think the light actually means "a fault in the charging system" might be time for a new alternator
  3. Thanks for your feedback. I am looking at getting a 200 series
  4. There is a mob called All Crash Parts www.allcrashparts.com.au have a look on there select your vehichle and it will show you what you can get. Most of the Big Auto Shops like Supercheap, Repco, Autopro use these guys as a supplier. You can get the part number straight off the website and give it to the shops to get you a price. There are heaps of cool things on there I just had a look at your vehichle.
  5. Nice. The more I see these cars the more I like them.
  6. Funny Enough I was speaking to a head mechanic who owns the biggest workshop in town and he uses Castrol Edge. He thinks its pretty good stuff. For anyones information Edge 5w-30 is SM petrol classified which is the highest of any oil on the market. Oil comming out very clean isnt always a bad sign. I only ever ran Full Synthetic valvoline in my VY Commodore since I got it and did a flush first time and it always came out very very clean. I change every 5000km. If you have the good oil and there is no sludge or varnish build up and ur car is running right theres no reason the oil shouldnt come out clean. Well slightly browner then it went in anyway. I have got all the stuff to do the oil change tommorrow, just gunna put castrol Edge 5w-30 in it for now. Wont be too long before it needs another change anyway.
  7. Its Auto Isnt it? Doesnt really matter the ZF's are a pretty good AUTO but still manuals are more fun. Anyway, dont mind the colour. looks neat under those orange lights. One thing with the T's is that I have been told that in one of the Mufflers one side is blocked/restricted or some ****. Zorst would be high on my power chasing preformance upgrades list. Other than that they arnt a bad car. Be interesting to hear your remarks on Build Quality compared to the Toyota/TRD's? Keep us posted. A little Fun in an XR6T Sorry about the camera
  8. Hmm thanks for your input. After spending the last hour on the Mobile 1 Website, and watiching some of there videos and testimonials, I think Im convinced I will go with it. Go the 1Mil Mile BMW. Now the only choice I have is 5W-30 or 0W-40.
  9. I agree with your opinion, I used valvoline SynPower 0W-40 in my VY Commodore and after ~5000km it looked nearly as clean as the day I put it in. I will probably go there again. What viscosity is best for these Klugers? Recommended is 10W-30.
  10. Coming up on due for an oil change and I want to get the best oil I can for my Kluger. The Choice is between Valvoline or Castrol. I want to go synthetic but I really dont know if thats going to be good for the motor or not. I cant see why not but I just feel a little out of my depth here with Fancy Toyota Engines (in a long time holden boy). Basically the reconnended stuff is a 10W-30. Im wondering if a Castrol EDGE 5W-30 would be better? Any input would be great. Thanks guys.
  11. Think you will find if you read your Owners Manual that your car needs atleast 95 Octane. I can tell you that my 05 model with the 3MZ-FE hates 91, doesnt mind 95 but really loves BP Ultimate 98
  12. Sounds like XBOX 360 RROD all over again.
  13. You Guys are lucky. Out here in Central QLD it would be 6 months before you would get anything done. Infact it was 7 months when I had to get some serious work on my old commodore, they kinda bashed it and put a headlight in within a week for me then left it for ages. I've been waiting over 2 months for them to re-spray my grill in my Kluger as the clear coat has gone **** on it, and thats knowing the panel beater and also Toyota Warranty hounding them. Im real glad I got Extra-Care warranty. hehe. Im gunna milk it. The two major panel beaters are seriously busy up here though with the likes of wild life repairs and stuff like that. They are both on the same street and they have so many cars there they are out on the street and around the corner = **** loads.
