Pretty sure you have to run the wires yourself in my levin SX there is no plug behind the factory radio. Also why not go aftermarket probably cost less and get more features?

Big update today :D Managed to get my eyelids sanded and ready for some prep work ready for painting. I'm not sure if I like them or not yet or they need to be shaped or chopped but here's some pics you guys can judge for yourselves. I also decided it was time to get stuck into the sub grille and 20mm persex was used and 45 degree slopes were routed to give it a sharp edge bit hard to see from the iphone photos. Really need a good camera to pickup the detail of cuts in perspex and also the lighting. With the leds it just lights up that perspex ring and it just glows.

Get these ones from ebay I got 2 sets about 2 weeks ago now for low beam and foggies in 8000k nice blue colour.

Jumped on the PlastiDip bandwagon today did the rear badge and that chrome strip pics below. Also re-did the front badge and grille in PlastiDip to keep the theme going around the car grille looks really good factory finish. Just ignore the dirt finger marks will get some proper pics up tomorrow aswell as the front :D

Not going to clear coat, if it starts to peel or chip I can just peel it off and do another spray (although from research its pretty durable stuff!) Don't have to take the badge off at all. Just mask and spray, then peel the unwanted plastidip off the car's paintwork (sounds scary but trust me its 100% safe). Got it from a place in Bowen Hills called Prime Electronics. Plastidip Distributors - QLD So did you sand the badge or anything might have to go get some of this tomorrow. Also when you peeled off the unwanted inside the badge did it lift off the badge when removing it from paint work? sorry for all questions as you said "sounds scary" might take me few more times to read and process

Nice work Corey, are you clear coating these badges. Also did you just buy new double sided tape and stick to badge and finally where do you buy this Plastidip from?

Yeah I've used woven glass, got the basic shape they just need a good sand now and a thin skim of bog and should be ready for painting.

Paint in behind the badge white make the black badge stand out more B)

Hey Lachlan, thanks for the comment. I'm a big fan of the kappas have the 18" version on my aurion just up for a change or my new idea I've had is get coilovers instead and leave the kappas. Anyways not sure if you've seen this but might help you out as few more angles never hurt.
