It's a Alpine 502 but i dont think they make them anymore the newer one is 520 i think has the built in nav and bluetooth where as my one has external boxes for nav and bluetooth.

Where abouts do you live? In my zre I used the surround that came with the headunit then another surround i had lying around and then modded the brackets so the unit sat back further in the dash so it uses the surround and not the wings. The unit sits flush with the trim piece.

I'm pretty sure its going to stay blue not gonna go back to black, sigh front bar has to come off again to fit HIDS :( at least its pretty straight forward.

In the pic it does really look like blue even though when the paint was mixed the sample card was a really good match better then the photo.

Better with the black or blue backing on badge?

Did some experimenting today with some gloss black paint and also behind the badge I have painted that the original tungsten colour. Before After I have the grill painted gloss aswell and came up well although I was in a rush to get it in to see what it looked like and it wasnt fully dry ended up taking some paint off so in the middle of re-sanding and painting again Also in-between layers a Mate and I thought about modding the factory air box ducting, I didnt take a photo of how it is from factory but what we did was take the hose from the airbox that goes down behind fog light and loops back up comes out sort of next to battery, it now goes straight down to the lower grill for some cold air :D In this photo ive used zip ties to pull it closer to the wiring loom to keep it away from fog light. This is not the exact sitting spot of the hose was just there for test fit to make sure it cleared the bar Ive managed to strech it more to the centre will get some photos up tomorrow when I put the grill in.

I use Holts Dupli-Color for all my stuff costs $12.99 a can for 150g but I've always had good results so worth every cent.

Yeah was pretty ****** turned around to put can down went back to inspect my work and saw it lol. Front bar needs to come off again anyway for HIDs so not to bad or I will just leave it until I do the front lip so they are both colour matched.

LOL does look better then the black surrounds.Im thinking of re-doing mine in a with matte. When i was doing a my finally layer of clear coat a bug landed in it and if you look close enough you can tell where i put abit of black over it so want to re do it.

Looking good mate good list of mods, I think painting the grill black is really gonna set yours apart, gonna do the badge aswell. PS. Need to loose the broncos number plate surround :P
