Been a few months since my last update, been busy with a few other things that have popped up and work commitments so hasnt given me much time on the forums and not going to the Bris meets on Thursday night. Ill pickup where I left off with the finished camera pics. Havn't really done much else to the car sub box is still a work in progress hoping to get back to it tomorrow. 1 thing i have done is replace the interior light with a 48 led panel found on Ebay and while I was on the light upgrade I orderd Halogen 4500K Light Bulbs so will be pure white they should be turning up on tuesday. Also another thing i did about 2 weeks ago was use some relays to get my mirrors to fold in when car is armed and fold out when car is disarmed I've attached a small video below.

Hi Pete Check out the Mongoose site under the toyota tab if the link doesnt work has gps and sms alerts and its a factory upgrade alarm can also get windows up module fitted aswell.

You can buy a special paint that does go over lights/leds that doesnt peel off would be easier.

I had already finished the camera by the time i saw your post otherwise i would have taken photos. I used the factory loom that goes from body into hatch. Ill post some pics tomorrow.

How much you be looking to spend on the factory levin 16's with the dunlops? I have my 4 sitting around only done 16km on them but im in brisbane.

Ill take some photos nest time i pull it out its pretty simple you will just need so nibblers from jaycar and a hammer n dolly. If your in Brisbane ill give you a hand if you want.

Once you have remote start you never go back. I have used the viper system twice yet to get around to doing it on aurion though. I like to get get the engine at operating temp before i go for a drive.

Hey Lee thanks for the comment. It definatly looks heaps better sitting in rather then out. I have a h701 processor which requires alot more setting up rather then the imprint module. Still got the tv tuner module to go in aswell.

Finally got away from the ps3 and started some more work on the rolla. Installed an alpine 502 double din unit with 400bt bluetooth kit and NVE-M300P navigation module with a connects2 steering wheel interface. Instead of using the toyota plastic brackets that bolt onto side of headunit to fill gap i used the surround that came in the box and glued some extra plastic onto the side and re drilled the holes on the factory headunit brackets to allow the unit to sit flush with the edge of the plastic trim. Looks far neater then using those toyota ears that space the hole headunit out more. Small groove filed for ipod lead to run through. Microphone mounted up in there out of way

Thanks for the comments fellas. Getting a bit worried about the leds from H.K now that they not going to turn up this is starting nearly 3 weeks so no more progress until they turn up You need to put some pics up of your install specically at night time :D

Some more progress was made on the sub box today. Still waiting for the led roll and dimmer to arrive in mail.

Goto your local car audio store and ask for a pair of toyota ears. they are made to screw into the factory headunit holes and will fit that gap nicely.

Try mounting it under the tailgate you may need a spacer but you pretty much want to just see the word eclipse on that bottom edge of tailgate and that will give you a perfect view of towbar and wont get that gay step in the way. By the sounds of where you've mounted the camera 1/2 the screen was taken up by rear step?

Ive made some slow progress on the sub box, currently at the part where im sanding to meet the edge of the trim and give it a nice smooth role. If you imagine that the sub hole will be cut out on that layer of mdf and then another 9mm panel will sit around the sub with blue l.e.d strip lighting all the way around followed by another 9mm panel to cover the l.e.d then a frosted perspex ring will be inserted onto the sub bit hard to explain but im sure you will all get the pic once its complete. i was originally gonig to just do a carpet box but have now decided to trim box in black vinyl and make a false floor to access spare wheel. Im unsure yet to buy another 17" kappa and tyre and have that as my spare so the floor can have a persex circle to see the kappa through floor with blue l.e.d lighting under neath or just do a black vinyl with a raised up toyota logo in the vinyl with some form of lighting.
