  1. all the more reason why most small cars don't get targeted - cause people out here love V8's like (or more) their wives.
  2. oncy you obviously don't live in penrith - i am from glenmore park and penrith has less car theft than in most suburbs of sydney, it is the surrounding suburbs that are a bit dodge - and the parts got stolen from westmead hospital. and i seem to recall all the sportivos targeted when they were first brought out were hit on the north side of the harbour and the eastern suburbs. any how just to let you know just cars are far from insurers of the year - and when they say they are for the car enthusiast they mean that they don't give a ***** about the car enthusiast. i am so buying a factory honda s2000 next. and insuring it with nrma.
  3. i always garage my car and it was in a secure car park at my work at the hospital when it happened. prob is nil cctv in the car park. the people knew what they were doing as the tape is all still intact and the bolts were put back. any way that for the comments just be careful all.
  4. sorry about the language. some one over night stole the body kit off my car. if any one has any info please pm me. do not buy a white body kit with a broken front spoiler. all sportivo owners beware.
  5. i got a bride rail for my sparco evo and it was about 250$ from japan
  6. yeah man for sure check out our band. http://www.withdisdain.com.au
  7. norma jean, remembering never, heaven shall burn, Wu tang, Jay Z> Atreyu and my loves Everytime I die.
  8. yeah i am getting the same wondering whether a set of bushings may tighten the front end up as i am sure it is not the coilover. maybe the front stabiliser could be loose (bad bushings). .... rolla mods could this be it? can't find it when i have it on the stilts. only seems to be when the car is not under pressure to perform
  9. TRD black - very relieable all day on the track then very good and predictable daily driving.
  10. i will get around to buying an s2000 but ultimate NSX
  11. i do but i have the CAI. its from my engine sighing that i have finished kicking its A$$
  12. how good is you'll kick yourself so hard you'll taste boot leather. oh my *** i am dying laughing. NA for Life. like wrong jigsaw pieces nothing is meant to be forced.
  13. i was going to post this in the poll section but any how. heres what comes next in the flesh - sorry for those who have been to the motor show and sorry if you have already covered this in your thread.
  14. mine is 1'17".50 on street tyres. st115. the day i hurt my gear box
  15. could be a loss of back pressure from the muffler?? so you will only see the real engine response at higher revs? just a thought not sure though
  16. i am not sure guess i am not, but i have never cruched gears nor punished my gear box with dragging. One thing i have heard though is that rev matching on synchro mesh gear box with heel and toe method can be detrimental, to synchro the gear box oil i have currently got in is mobil 424. - just until i change the oil (prob to redline). my car has 70.000kms of hard driving under its belt. i had the synchro problem occur at the track so it was most probably due to oil heat prob. which is my bad. i never had any problems with 5th and 6th and so was surprised when they mentioned they need replacing. another thing i was reading is that the redline super light and light anti shock is not for synchro mesh applications. though the heavy duty is... .but i think is it you rollamods you run the super light in most of your gear boxes is that true? any other suggestions for gear box strengthening without compromise of drivability?
  17. i drive fine thank you *** of modding. i go to the track very reg. and cannot rely on this gear box. and as i am about to dedicate this car to fun purposes it would help a lot.
  18. ahhhh northy my parts supplier didn't tell me about the whole celica wiring problems - since you have post this you have saved me quite a deal of f - ing around especially since talking to you about thew old vs new apexera debate. i nearly bought that one in my friends shop complete with the hand controller for 1500 but thanks for letting me know as when i did more research it was for 2zz ge but couldn't confirm loom and other details ...so it sits on the shelf. :( think i will just by some potenza s tyres - at least i know what i am getting my self into. your cars still makes me violently jealous you sure you don't want to sell the buddys?? :D
  19. i have never had shifting problems before or after HD clutch. i have just had the gear box replaced due to glass synchros and cross misssions under warranty. i was only having problems shifting down from 3rd to 2nd then when toyota took it apart several teeth from 5th 6th and 3rd and 2nd syncmesh badly worn. i never had a problem with any other gear just between 3rd down to second. they still didn't tell me a price though when i asked for if i have to replace out of my own pocket? i know though the c-one cross mesh is approx 5k i think i will talk to the peeps at ?PAR to sought a dog box setup.
  20. rt215 are s tyres. i run st115 and they are pretty quiet and perform really well wet or dry. silica based too
  21. yeah no offence man don't worry uni group are too lazy to type it in. first was 105kw with cai 112.9kw. then the final was the one in my garage.
  22. as i am about me and my car i don't have to prove ******* to you. it is a variant on that system. and i have no guilt because i sat down with the exhaust guys and figured out what we could make to benefit my car. with several different parts. nil droning. i have the dynos it is on my garage my stock dyno was 105kw. it does sound like a production sports though when wound up - try the search button :P
  23. I have custom exhaust 2.5" secret specs. 10kw gain must do something. mine does have magnaflow rear though
