Bugger, hope this gets resolved soon

With the stock ones you tend to see a big kick in the curve when lift is engaged but with your mods you've given the car more power below lift (as well as in lift) so the kick isn't as prominent. You probably feel when driving that the transition into lift is smoother than when it was stock right?

Pretty linear power delivery

Is it using a oiled filter such as K&N? If so, the filter has been over oiled. Clean the airbox, wash out the filter and re-oil only very lightly.
-
Personally I tend to avoid it.

Owned lol

I just saw the new STi, looking very fat and looks very cool!
plate is from NSW too.
Around Chadstone right? yep saw the same one a couple of weeks ago. I like it.

Sportivo (And Celica) with the 2zz engine are designed to be revved high to make power. If you look at some of the Dyno charts floating around the forum (Except for Xoom's) You'll see there's a big jump in power when it engages lift after 6000rpm.

It comes down to what the lease company allows because at the end of the day it's the lease company's vehicle and modding it will devalue the asset.

Hey first time poster!! hello to all, i have an 03 corolla sportivo for the past 2 years.
Hey all, i have a cannon installed on my car, it came with it and i want to take it off and replace it with a twin normal exhaust. I have been told i need to get in engineered after it is done for it to comply, how much am i looking to pay this for to be done? I just mean the price of the engineer?
You would not have to have it engineered. It depends on what kind of muffler is fitted you can go from $150 to $850 and everywhere in between. But realistically, you wouldn't pay any more than $250
-
From the rear of the car shake the exhaust left to right and see if it makes contact with any of the heat shields or anything else.
Also, if the Cat was actually removed, I would have it replaced immediately... you're looking at a $20k fine if you get busted without one, that's alot even for Packer.

They look much better than the type that slip over the entire door frame.

A bit of click click kind of noise is normal, especially when you have the radio off and you can hear it clearly, but it shouldn't be so loud that it sounds like it's breaking.
If you think it's actually getting louder, I would return it and have it looked at to put your mind at ease.

Will they be conducting any testing on the new one before issuing to customers?

Given Nissan has priced the GTR at around 120-150k you can expect the Lexus to be in the same ball park or more.
-
Nice one!!!!!
Hmmmm time for another big fishing trip in Bass Straight me thinks.
-
The Lexus will sit at the top of the new IF range as the top of the range lexus.
The Supra (Nothing actually confirmed only rumours) will most likely be a toned down version of the white Hybrid Sports car (Which I think will be at Melbourne motor show later this week).

Cool mint condition!

I can check later but from memory it's in the fuse panel in the drivers side or the smaller panel in front of the front passenger door. I'll check later in the day and let you know for certain.

How would you like your tyres served?
Fried or Nuked !
Cool thing about it is, visually this car would look like any other VE SS ute on the road

To me that just means that Caltex has a greater Ethanol Content which isn't all that good for your car if it hasn't been designed to run with such Ethanol content.
