  1. Not sure if it is in the List of can be , given the year, but believe me, having that activated automatically can be a bloody pain in the butt having them lock all the time
  2. Hey Bud just Google ( steel ute tray hinges ) click on Images, literally 100,s to choose from, hopefully one there that matches
  3. 👍 Cool, I thought maybe it didn't , Glad all good, Cheers CONROD
  4. Bloody Lubricate, pull the other one. Get someone to crack all the wheel nuts, (evenly) and tighten back up by hand. They probably rattled them tight. BA Falcons suffered warped rotors as a result of overtightening, then again make sure they are actually tightened
  5. With the driver's side, fully open the window, then fully close the window, BUT THIS TIME, continue to hold the switch in the upward position for a further 5 sec, then all should be reset and operate automatically. As for the passenger side have you checked to see if the safety lock is not on in the driver's side switch block. Let us know how you went.😎
  6. Honestly, what are you going to clean ? That 660ml of petrol in a 66 Lt tank of diesel would be no different than throwing a bottle of injector cleaner in. If it were water on the other hand I'd say drain it, Bloody water thats the killer especially on a Common Rail
  7. To have driven 10km and its still running all is good, If it were a CRD things might not be, scored HPFP being one of them, being a 2004 its about 10 years too early to have a DPF
  8. Thats a hell of a lot of money, for what gain, not going to go any quicker
  9. valve stem seals, High manifold vaccum drawing oil in past the valve stems
  10. Anything 5x114.3 Aurion, Kluger, Ford Falcon. Im running 16x6.5" on my little workmate. Got them off a Falcon ute, just had to get a set of hub rings to take up the difference between Hub and wheel centre, cheap as on ebay and they are a perfect offset so they remain tucked in under the guard
  11. For it to melt, either a dead short , wrong grounding, better still, track down a schematic diagram of Glow plug/ cold engine starting and check everything is connected as per diagram
  12. You should of got one, as the wife got one for her new ASX, that way we knew exactly what we were getting, still have all the original paperwork right down to Patricks delivery documents when it docked in Port Kembla. I'd be wandering back to the selling dealer and getting something printed off, so you have a hard copy, because your Hilux could of been the one that landed back on 8th Nov and its been on sold
  13. True, but my 2001 Hilux rzn remains where it was at shut down
  14. Fuel gauge will always show the level when ignition was last turned off, they don't automatically drop to empty
  15. Help! Radio SEC code?? - Yaris / Echo Club - Toyota Owners Club - Australia
  16. What is the specs of the 2L te engine? The 2L-T is a 2.4 L (2,446 cc) turbo version of the 2L still being produced since 1982. The bore and stroke are the same but the 2L-T has a compression ratio of 20:1. Output is 85 to 91 PS (63 to 67 kW; 84 to 90 hp) gross at 4000 rpm with 19.2 kg⋅m (188 N⋅m; 139 lb⋅ft) gross of torque at 2200 rpm. Type it in and Google till your hearts content, unless someone on here has done some mods, don't know what else you can do, you need to increase the torque
  17. Hi all as the Title states thinking of getting a Kluger, seen a 2019 Black edition, 55,000km or a 2021 one with 30,000km. Interested in what to look out for, also has anyone had any nasty incidences, with stupid little gremlins causing headaches, Thanks kindly
  18. 36,000km fair dinkum, Nankang xr611 235/60 r16 just under 89,000km 38psi from day one, that Aerospace 303 treatment on tyres, reminds me of people who say they get an extra 5kph if they wax the hull of their boat as it repells water, its all hype
  19. The tall rolling diameter of your wheel/tyre package has knocked the crap out of your gearing and its causing it to lug everywhere. eg wider opening on the throttle just to maintain speed and on the hills , Not being nasty, so don't take offence, I reckon its nearly flat to the floor or you're throwing it back through the gears revving it like mad just to maintain some momentum, on the slightest incline, Even though they are a 2.4 they only pump out 75KW and 185NM of torque. One way around it, is swap diff ratios out, but now we are talking $$$$$ for minimal gain. Think back did it start to use fuel when the wheel tyre combo went on
  20. Had a look at Toyota when I was there yesterday, they are screwed on
  21. Check and see if its held in place with any fixings, such as Rivnuts and just drill them out
  22. I wonder if they replaced the Spigot bearing/ bush with a new one in the back of the crank. If its a bearing and they didn't it could be flogged out and the main shaft of the gearbox isn't running true, that might be why he wants to take it back out again as he remembered he either left it out or he stumbled across the new one when the job was done.
