what motor is in it... the 4cyl or the v6... can you do the work yourself? and where are you located? its a 4cyl,ive never worked on a motor before and im from wollongong NSW. sorry i forget to put this info in my first post lol

Hi guys ive just bought a 94 camry station wagon and have just found out the head gasket is gone :( .... my question is would it be worth getting it fixed or am i better off buying a second hand engine? or even selling it as parts? cheers hobbs.......

Hey guys i have just bought my first ever toyota so i thought id join a toyota forum for some advice. I live in Wollongong NSW and im into keeping/breeding reptiles,fishing and spending time with my wife and daughter.I work as a barman/night manager.I have just bought a 94 Camry s/wagon which im very happy with sofar(seeing as tho it cost me $200 lol) ive noticed a few little things wrong like roof lining drooping,t bar shifter very sloppy and the radiator overflow bottle has no lid,just a hose going into it (maybe the reason the car looses water?)im just wondering if there are any other things to look for before i re-regester it? looking forward to chatting to a few new people in the future ;) cheers hobbo............
