  1. G'day everyone, Just saying hello again after nearly two years. Recently picked up my 2009 TRD 3500SL Black. Cheers Andrew
  2. I must have bought the crapiest version as none of the options you mentioned make any difference. Thanks anyway.
  3. G'Day, I've been out on the track recently with a friend in a Honda S2000 which had semi slicks on it grip was just excellent and decided I will try them on my TRD for more grip. What tyres should I be looking at buying that are good on the street as well? I was looking at Federal for value for money. Don't wanna spend a fortune on this just now. Thanks
  4. G'day collective brains, I was driving my 3500s around town as normal, stopped for lunch and when I took off again suddenly I noticed a faint strange noise that seemed like coming from the right hand driver side fan/went. Then it got louder. I can only hear it when I accelerate, the harder I push it the louder it gets. It sounds like when you chuck a sheet of paper into a fan. It does it even when standstill if I just rev up the engine. Should I be concerned? What could it be? Supercharger maybe? Cheers Andrew
  5. well quite a few of them got sacrificed over the years to get to current level.
  6. Awesome kick down at the start. Big difference from the Normal Aurion. yeah 400nm makes a tiny difference:)
  7. Castle Hill Toyota is the birth place of my red baby:) Count me in please. Any chance to take part in the test run?:) Thanks

  10. G'day, I ahave just upgraded the stock 6CD stacker in my TRD Aurion to an aftermarket all in one unit with revese camera. This is the unit: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/7-HD-DVD-GPS-TOYOTA-CAMRY-AURION-Toyota-Camera_W0QQitemZ260604056497QQihZ016QQcategoryZ75327QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m444QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DCRX%26its%3DC%252BS%26itu%3DSI%252BUA%252BLM%252BLA%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8390746474326216035 Two issues: 1: Can't change music track while in GPS mode. 2: When listening to music I can hardly hear the GPS voice guidance even at the highest GPS volume setting. Anyoneone had this issue so far? Cheers

  15. G'Day, Can anyone suggest some good driving roads around or outside of Syd where we could unleash the horses a little and the cams are not looking? Thanks
  16. G'day Toyota lovers. Just wanted to introduce myself and my beloved TRD 3500s What a great car I must say whoever complains about the front wheel drive system simply does not have what it takes to drive this wonderful car:) I am loving it. Cheers Andrew
  17. I am proud of my little TRD I was able to keep up with mighty MAS:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p-SZIzjgaY[/youtube
  18. Well you can put some 17x7's on it with a 225 wide tire. That combo was comfortable in the Sportivo. ... but that idea is just stupid. The easiest solution in this case is to just get used to it. No way I love the way it is and that would defeat the purpose of the car I'll get used to it:) Also on the other hand despite the negative reviews about being FWD with so much power I think it delivers power through the front wheels quite well especially once you learned to handle it.
  19. OK thanks so I just wanted to make sure it's not a problem with this particular setup.
  20. Yes you are quite right and I am getting used to driving with both hands. Not easy though:) So I guess there is no way to soften it up a bit??
  21. G'day, I am a proud new owner of a beautiful TRD Aurion 3500S. I love the car it's a beast. I got one issue though which I don't really like in the car. When traveling through uneven surfaces often it tries to take the wheel out of my hand it seems as it wants to follow the cracks on the road. It's not torque steer I got no issues with that I can manage it just fine but this happens even at low speeds. I've just upgraded from an SX6 and that had no such issues. Just wonder if anyone had the same experince and is there anything that can be done about it? Cheers TRD Bloke
