  1. to true... im over my boy racer phase... looking at a car to enjoy for what it is... sure i'll pop a few little goodies in... thing is cant get over the figures and noise they make.. absolutlely love the detail VW put in there car of all ranges.. sorry for topic change i hope this project goes through so we can say that brissy has the fastest haha... im sure others will follow... but its a good project.. enjoy the ride...
  2. Thanks dad.. haha and a sunny hello from London.. lets be honest hmmm i'm pretty sure i'd prefer a Golf R32 but the stivo is looking pretty spiffy Kurt if you read this: dont kill yourself !!!!, you managed to crash the car about 30 times without any modifications on it...*** help us now
  3. nah,, im still beating around the bush just keeping busy.... im leaving next friday.. - get excited and to all the canberra kids having a look.. keep your eyes peeled for gws lightning my vehicle will now be with my brother living in canberra i believe so far that is unless craig wants to buy the blackness.... but yes... still here monitoring the surroundings
  4. hmmmm im impressed with this idea.. looks good and obviously to those that pop the bonnet looks very standard, i take it that you just leave the base of the box off... who's car is this on by the way?? any reviews would be good - looks like a very cheap yet possibly effective way for nice induction.. thumbs up
  5. and pics if you could that'd be sweet if you have time...
  6. no worries.. wasnt trying to form an argument.. RBT Motorsport and Project Lift. (project lift was craig - so its all you now) sorry for post..
  7. does craig get any comission out of this anymore?? or has he been left out due to his car retirement
  8. i know i sit at the front of my car so it doesnt really matter to me
  9. ^^^^^^^^^ is this speciffically for the corolla?? how much.. short ram **** yeah baby thats what im talking about.. torque and response all the way over top power hmmm just looked its 170 bucks.. no filter - also for the 1.8 vvti - so whats the consenses on using it on a sportivo
  10. the civic's used to come out with that spoiler where you could rest your beer can that i thought looked pretty sweet
  11. yeah there talking about the craigmires car.. sure they dont know about the new records i'd say they more interested in making cash and doing up cars than worrying about who's 1.8 corolla is shaving seconds of the tittle.. they'll change it if you tell them to id say. .
  12. nope did this one myself.. very handy with the right equipment... just took my time got it done perfectly no cuts or bruises from this. it needed to be done.. cant expect me or service peeps to take it off to put a new filter in.. i might be selling off the car, not sure yet ive got my plane tickets for overseas booked for feburary next year.. and ive decided that when/if i come back a jeep wrangler with gas conversion is the new look for me... haha stuff fuel efficency with gas 4-5l/100km will do me fine..
  13. nope.. just use your brains and cut a oil filter access point and file it back such that it very simple to remove the offending filter.. then purchase a plastic plug or rubber housing to block the gap back up again.. easy done.. diy'ng
  14. you sure spent alot of money on some bit of tin that dont work..... haha yes i certainly did .. i spent a total of $0 and about 1/2 work so yup all adds up to alot of money.. once again interjecting without knowing.. love it
  15. cooling pannel does jack ****.. all it does is pretty up the engine bay , i've got both underbody and radiator one.. clearly theres no difference.. its not going to affect your engine temp considering air is being pushed in at the same rate when driving..
  16. chick on the right is a stunner... would moisturise the back seat with that...
  17. rice... sure maybe not.... understandably if you get a massive 20thousand inch tacho with a shifty its not the classiest thing.. ive got a sneaky gizzmo recall shifty hiden at the top of my a pillar cant see it until it lights up and burns your retinas.. perfect for daily driving.. ricey i dont think so at all.. but hey if you can hear the subtle differences in high cam from 7,200 - 8,200 your killing it and your feet will be quick a little flashy light will tell you when your car is ACTUALLY there.. i enjoy my shifty..
  18. pretty sure kickers solobaric subs are the real deal.. wouldn't say that they are poorly designed at all or have mild chance of failure.. possibly the best sub in terms of SPL at the moment.. if you can show me a sub of a similar nature that is square do it.. the only thing that comes close is dd's and not even solobaric form.. dont get 6x9 unless you want rubbish sound. JL all the way... sounds like i have a live orchestra in my car coupled when i had the dual kicker comp subs which have now been replaced with a previous years model pioneer SPL comp TSW1200f sub... drops nuts and hurts the spleen but remains clear
  19. cheapest diy air intake.. costs two zip ties.. unclip the box zip tie the filter to the top half.. leave unclipped.. you want response and noise..
  20. this is my favourite car from the whole forums. haven't even seen it in real life but theres something about it.. i love the simplicity of it all and everything works well together.. two thumbs up.. love your work.. still have to upload my new garage pics.. laziness
  21. dont forget to ecu reset. car shouldn't sound stock
  22. 1.8l corolla = slow ( yeah i own one.. ) 2.0l turbo = fast 6.0l V12 = STUPIDLY FAST wake up plus why do you want to add to the polution levels.. its a corolla.......*** damn the engine is good for a new age run around it isn't the beez kneez... **** me
  23. to much NOS... danger to manifold kinda action..
  24. sorry i didn't get back.. but micky-tee pretty much summed it up.. its a prick of a job to do and if done correctly will yeild better torque figures.. haven't done it yet but ive been speaking to lexus peoples about doing it apparently on the 4-age and agze's the results are quite substantial
