I have done the 100,000 on my TRD. don't recall anything specific. I am at the 120,000 & have just done all diff oils etc as per the maintenance schedule. What model is yours ?
  2. I have a TRD Hilux no snorkel but a K&N filter & yes I recorded a small fuel economy increase. I tested it over 8 weeks in standard driving at an average of 80 - 100 klm/h. Fuel economy went from 22.6mpg over 4000 klm to 23.4 mpg over 4000klm. I then modified the exhaust to a merged collector instead of the T piece, then into 3" , a Berkley straight through pulse muffler & 3" tail pipe. Again I saw an economy increase to 24.8 mpg. In short I am happy with it. Gibbsy
  3. Can't fault my TRD Aurion or my TRD Hilux. They are just that little bit better than the standard cars. If you get the TRD aurion the only thing I would change is the Y piece exhaust. I have done mine & the mufflers, & it really makes a difference in both grunt & fuel economy. I consistently average 7.4 ltrs/100klm on the highway with 252Kw on tap. Mind you if you squeeze it, you will drink the juice. Had both cars for 3 years & no issues at all. Good value for money & toyota reliability. Putting twin 2,1/4" exhausts on the Lux this weekend, which should improve the fuel & grunt.
  4. Fuel economy out of the TRD Hilux, over a base line study for 2 months, the best I have seen is 23Mpg & the worst is 21Mpg old terms. New terms I am seeing 8.1 Klm / Litre. It runs standard exhaust & K&N panel filter.
  5. All TRD's are special you would have to admit......True they are not FPV's or HSV's but they are special..I bought both TRD's the Hilux & the Aurion & I cannot fault either of them. They are really good quality reliable & quick cars. The steering left issue on the Aurion is the only small hinderance I can see. Just my 2cents worth..
  6. Mate of mine has 245x35x20" Osaka's & had to roll the rear guards to prevent mild rubbing on rough conditions with 2 x blokes in the rear & a full tank of fuel. The rims look sweet as they are polished 9 spoke with a large lip. Not sure on offset etc. Car is a 2011 ZR6 I think as it is debadged.
