  1. Hi, my 1988 Camry sedan has a turn signal fault, and having checked the relevant user manual section I'm wondering if the flasher relay unit is failing. Symptoms are: irregular indicator flashing and sometimes normal, sometimes very rapid with a fast indicator ticking sound (the sound is also heard randomly even when the idicator/lights arm is not activated). The hazard lights when enabled display the same symptoms. All the bulbs are illuminating. Can someone please help me diagnose the problem before I go out looking for parts? Cheers!
  2. All the indicator lamps seem to be working -- front, back, side. Possibly flasher unit is faulty; would that affect only one side though? What about the parking lights; if one of those was faulty (dim, on its way out), could that cause problems on one side? Cars are not my forte, I'm afraid. EDIT: I might also add that if the hazard lights are activated, both indicators flash correctly.
  3. Hi, the right indicator has started blinking quickly on my 1988 Camry. The car is otherwise in very good condition for its age. The bulbs have been checked; could it be the flasher relay needs replacing on that one side (assuming there is one for each side)? Cheers.
