  1. Thanks for the links. Its a car i have always wanted to own, I just need to make it look like a supra should. To an extent, until you get the ones that whilst look clean, it's because they've been driven 5,000km a year down the corner to the shops (so never really get warm) and haven't had an oil change since 2010.Yeah this lady had money and took pretty good care of it, didnt know a thing about cars but at least she had regularly kept up with the servicing. Its engine is just as quite as my mazda. ^_^
  2. So its been a while since I last posted here, probably a couple of years to be exact haha. Since my last toyota i've owned a mazda 3, not exactly that exciting. So I was desperate for something I would love and here it is: Incase you didn't know here is proof of my camry i used to own. Small background story on my supra. Bought it of a lady on the gold coast who had recently just bought herself a mercedes benz. The supra itself had a minor fixes as it was 20 years old (1993) and with only 90000kms I offered her $9500. She said yes and it was then i fell in love with it. Targa top as well as 4 brand new tyres (cheap ones I might add). The only downside are the hideous looking alloy chromes wheels, I would honestly rather the stock wheels. But I plan to fix that problem quite soon. In the month I have owned it I have had a full custom xforce exhaust system with extractors 2.5inch piping to a 4inch tip. Planned mods: New alloy wheels TRD spoiler SS induction kit Tien fully adjustable coilovers Front lip HID's I plan to keep it quite stock without ruining the original looks of the supra. Comments and question welcome. :)
  3. Thanks mate, I'll try to as much as I can. Do you guys just meet up at the 'loop'? Btw white is my colour. Cant see myself getting any other colour lol with any other car that is. EDIT: Forgot to metion it turns out my brakes were fine. They actually shattered the inner pad on the brake pad itself broke off and the rotor needed a machine. All is fine now. Thanks mate.
  4. That is one sexy beast, great work on your ride. Would love to see this in person one day. Camry's FTW!
  5. Even though I only made friday night, would like to thank all invovled. Was a thrill meeting you all and cruising the mountain roads.
  6. I hope its not too late but put me down for Friday for QLD, I'll struggle to make the rest of the week because it my birthday weekend so I'll be partying with my friends turning 21 :) first time going to a meet so it will definitely be exciting :)
  7. ^^ 100% made all the diff to mine look wise. But each to their own... your always sacrificing one thing for another. She looks good mate, hug diff with the new mods. And don't fear the chances are your v6 cam will still be running long after my v6 is. Ask cabbys! Thanks for the kind words, exterior wise I wanted to make it look tasteful and not look like a tool lol. I'll probably end up lowering it at some stage but it will have to hold for a while. Looking into buying a honda civic as a project car (tasteful mods once again lol), and probably sell it to my brother he'll be driving in a few years time.
  8. I honestly didn't think it needed lowering. I mean I can afford it thats not the problem. What do you think I should do? I'm a bit 50/50 on this. By the way for the brisbane locals was considering coming to a meet in the near future? unless you guys bite lol
  9. Update So I know its been a while since I last updated and I appologise. Although there hasn't been much to update since I haven't spent much on my car lol. That said recently bought some 20s for my ride (225/30/20 I think off the top of my head). Also had the chance to change my air filter to a K&N. Philips Diamond vision headlights and foglights. Aswell as the rear numberplate lights to white and well I'll let the pictures judge for themself. For those who are wondering, my car came with a new front grill as well as a genuine toyota sat nav, bluetooth and cd player. I'll add to this once I can think of more to say. For some reason my mind is really blank.
  10. Its one thing I do look forward to once I'm off P's is modifing my car, for now I'm just look at wheels and maybe a few engine mods, nothing illgeal lol. Was thinking of a trd supercharging the car, obviously can't at the moment, but has anyone done it on the same car? and does it effect reliability or anything besides performance?
  11. I agree, with what you said, its just that I mean for reliability I'm not sure. I've always loved toyota's just never owned one, my friend had a celica and said they are strong cars but how strong are they? I mean if you push it here and there not all the time but still treat it right with the best money can buy and will it last 5 or more years?
  12. I only worry for dints from, people who are useless at opening doors at the carpark at work. Havent got any yet cause I watch my car like a ninja
  13. Hey guys, New to the forums here, and I thought I would share my 2003 white camry sportivo. Where to start, 8 months ago I recently purchased my first car a 94 peugeot 306 xt. Now it wasn't the fastest car, but it had a big heart. However problems built up and so about 3 months ago I made the decision to buy another car from a dealer only. I had a budget of around $15,000 give or take depending on factors such as quality, make and so forth. The first serious car I saw was a tastey 2004 Nissian Maxima Ti-L however it was $20,000 and a bit pricey (even with all the pay rises at work, which could allow me to spend on a new car in the first place. But thats a different story). Needless to say I still showed dad, he was keen but still reminded me about the price. The next serious car was a 2000 Honda prelude, was in tip top shape it had everything from sun roof, leather seats, low km's and it was the right colour (silver) however dad had a bad experience with the dealer (it was in moorooka for the brisbane folks here, I dont want to say who just incase) so he said no, obviously. So I kept looking for the next couple of month or so came across some cars in good shape however it was a hyundai, not really my type of car. Then while bored started looking at all the dealers on the northside of brisbane. I dont know why but I was looking mainly on northside but I guess it was also closer. Then bang, I found what eventually was to be my car it was a white camry sportivo. It had all the usual comforts, plus the previous owner profesionally installed a sat nav, bluetooth, 4 stack cd player system so I had to see it. Went to look at it 3 days later, the longest of my life. Dad came along and was being usual dad and trying to make me buy a camry altise or a standard corrolla, but for some reason it was love as soon as a saw it. We hoped in a took it for a test drive and that was it I was sold. Picked up the car 3 sleepless nights later and I took it home with me. I had to take a day off just to drive it I was so excited. Its a joy to have, haven't gone wrong with my family or friends saying anything bad on it and all positives from it. Anyway pictures are below I hope you enjoy reading it as much as it took me writing it. tcsport45 Things I forgot to mention: - I didnt want a black coloured car mainly because they get dirty easy - Just rememebered I also looked at imports before namely: supra, celica and a integra - And I actually nearly was to buy a corrolla but changed my mind - And i'm a P plate so no turbo cars Edit: lol sorry for the pictures they are abit big.
