  1. Finally, I could not put up with the problem any longer. I decided to get the alignment issue fixed and went to Tyres and More at Silverwater. I'm happy to say things went very well and the boys there were extremely helpful with putting in the kit and getting the alignment right.
  2. This is not silly at all, I remember 15 years ago with my new Camry. I ended up calling NRMA. When the guy explained to me what had happened, I blushed. I turned the engine off while it was in D.
  3. It does pair without any issue at least with one phone that I know of. The guy at the service counter owns the new HTC and he demonstrated to me that his phone will work correctly. Obviously in the beginning he tried to put the blame on my phone, but when I started making a bit of noise he then backed down and said he never accused me of such thing. He told me to update the software on my phone, which he meant to be the FW, but my Nokia said it already has the latest one installed. I'll update on the progress with this matter, see whether Toyota is going to look after their customer or not. Funny how dealers like to assume and treat their customers like a bunch of morons before finally caving in and admitting he has a pile of paperwork half an inch thick with this issue. That is just with one dealership, since the same head unit also installed on the Yaris and you know how many Yaris Toyota sells each month. I also learn the head office has actually issue a memo to their service dept about this problem, what it entails though I have no idea.
  4. Looks like Toyota is ignoring me with this problem I'm having. I have one of the latest head unit from Toyota and is not pairing properly with my Nokia phone. Apparently it is a known issue and widespread. The dealer told me that Toyota don't want to know about it and it'll be up to the discretion of Fujitsu. I find this to be very strange and disturbing since my Nokia don't have a problem with any other bluetooth devices such as the multiple portable handsfree that I am currently using on different cars and why should Toyota pass this problem to Fujitsu, didn't they are the one who sold the car with the problem in the first place?
  5. You know, funny when I took my car to a dealer for an oil change today they weren't interested even though it's done 10600kms. They said to bring it back after 15000kms
  6. I know exactly what you mean and I didn't want to either but I didn't have a choice .
  7. Ok it works to a certain extent. I went inside the shopping centre and made the attempt to adjust the lights there. However, when I am making the adjustment it feels as the light beam shines lower, it converges, which mean it also requires the adjustment from side to side. Furthermore the high beam for the passenger side shines higher afterward. When I try to lower it to match the right one, the low beam on that side almost touches the ground At this stage I haven't touch the side adjustment yet since I haven't been able to figure out which screw does what. Definitely not a job for the faint hearted. At least now when I drive at night people won't be so annoyed anymore.
  8. Ah... thanks a lot for that information. Feeling a little frustrated since I had just discovered that the headlights is out of alignment and it is all because the springs factory that I went to did not know what the standard height was and took three goes before they came close and now I have to muck around with the headlights <_<. Might give it another go tonight. Cheers
  9. Does anyone know a good place in Sydney where you can get Autoglym? Cheers
  10. I need to adjust my lights too since it is aiming too high because of the change in the rear springs . I had a look at the one above and just throw my arms up in the air. I could just be able to see geared screw from the vision hole. Definitely more like socket than a screwdriver and facing from the inside for access which isn't easy to get to. Looks like the job for the service department, maybe they have the special tool required for turning the gear from the top.
  11. Can you please elaborate, as in the price or that it is not worth buying in the first place . I really don't know much apart from the claim made by Philips itself, not that it's going to make any different, since I already paid for the lights, but perhaps for future reference. Here is the link to the Philips bulbs: http://www.invisionsales.com/lighting/philips/headlight-upgrades PowerBulbs.com will do them for you @ almost half the price including shipping from the UK (which doesn't take too long either) Ah gee, thanks for that, I should have consulted the forum first. It was kind of spur of the moment, but at least it should be better than the original right?

  13. After upgrading the wheels a month ago and replaced rear springs with a set of heavy duty ones last week, today I decided to fit the white Philips globes for the low beam for a cool $95 Not as good as the HID but is the next best thing.
  14. I notice mine is rattling too when I turn as soon as the engine starts. Doesn't do it all the time. My Aurion is the 2010 model and a few times rattled quite badly. I think it could be related to the same issue. If I don't get it fixed can it do any damage to the engine over long term? BTW the car has only done 9000km.
