Hi John I have a 2012 KX-S that I have tried upgrading the bulbs, in the facelifted model the main beams are now H11 bulbs. I bought some bulbs off eBay as H11s are rare at the local auto parts store - they turned out to be less bright (although whiter light) than the stock ones. Not sure it helps you, but please share how you end up. Cheers Chris

Hi I towed a car this weekend and noticed the back of Kluger was sitting fairly low. The car and trailer would have weighed about 1200kgs in total. Just wondering, I have tried searching for poly bag inserts, but didn't get very far. Alternatively, maybe heavy duty suspension would be better. Anyone have any experience? Oh yeah, I have a 2012 KX-S 2WD Kluger. Thanks Chris

Hi I just had one installed on my wife's KX-S. The best pricing I could get (installed) was $750 for the Hayman Reese (with Toyota wiring harness and plastic surround cut to suit bar) and $820 for the Toyota - went with Toyota. If you can get the Hayman Reece for $500 installed with wiring harness do it. Cheers Chris

Yes I hear you, I was simply providing a pricing reference for you. Take note many are actual tyre retailers and can do the fitting, etc. and as always buyer beware.

I guess it depends on the stock 'on hand', our recently delivered KX-S was a March 2012 build and we waited 4 weeks for it.

Pricing on Klugers is very competitive at the moment, we picked up a 2012 (March Build) KX-S 2WD with carpet mats for $47400.

Just an aside, interestingly we were quoted $3000 to redo the complete interior (KX-R 7 seater) in leather (real leather, not Toyota pleather :) )

Picked up a 2012 KX-S today. We did a quick run to Phillip Island and back; approx 240km - averaged 10.0 litres/100km according to the computer.

Hi All We just picked up a 2012 KX-S and planning to fit DVD headrests for the kids. Has anyone got any experience where there might be power? In our previous VE, there was constant 12V and switched 12V in the centre armrest - does it exist in the Kluger? Thanks in advance Chris
